This is quite close to uchisar castle. Google maps was terrible as it led me the wrong route and I had to hike back up to find my way there! No entrance fee.

Amazing view point where you can just get a drink, sit here and wait for the sunset. Walking distance from the town. You can cut through to the other end that leads to Goreme Open Air Museum.

A good view point to see the pigeon valley.
