This park has an epic 2 story slide that my kids love. The equipment is a bit worn down and dingy looking - some pieces are broken, and it is often muddy. It is located right on the Anacostia River Trail and is less than a mile from two other great playgrounds.
Love this beautiful playground, exercise, and park site. My children love the disabled friendly playground good for ages 0 - 10, as well as playing and exploring along the Anacostia River.
This new beautiful playground is accessible from the Anacostia River Trail and is great for children 0-10. My young kids love the swings, slides, and zipline. The tree house intrigues them but is really only safely accessible for kids 6+. This playground is a 2 minute walk from a super hero themed playground and playing fields as well as adventure ls along the Anacostia River. We did find drug paraphernalia on a bench, and there can be vultures in the vicinity.
Nice playground right along side the Anacostia River NE Branch, and adjacent to huge open playing fields, and a disc golf course. My kids loved the hydraulic lift, rock/climbing features and the disabled friendly swings. Accessible from the Anacostia River NE Branch Trail.
