We've often gone to Clyde's for Thanksgiving since there are several different eating habits. This was our first visit to the Rockville location. Our experience has usually been good. This was less than usual. I thought the traditional turkey plate was smaller than ever, mediocre, and at $42, decidedly not a bargain.
I've always liked Chopsticks. My wife suggested Chinese, and this has been our goto. I had the shrimp and scallops. My wife had the pad Thai. I was happy, but she didn't like the noodles in the pad Thai. I can't comment, because although we share everything, I didn't notice the noodles specifically. The spring rolls were good, and we appreciated the extra sauces asked for and provided. It seems the hot mustard was in short supply the last couple of times we ordered Chinese. This time we got it all. The interior has aged, but pricing is good and I think it's a good value. We'll be back.
My wife and I had our weekly lunch date. The decor isn't inspiring, but I didn't expect it to be. The menu is more varied than I realized, and the food came surprisingly quickly. We both got 1/4 dark, hers with fries and garbanzo beans, mine with yucca and pintos. Fries and pintos were good. Neither of us liked the garbanzos. Some spice didn't agree with either of us. Service was quick, and there was a monitor showing the status of online orders. Food is Halal, which is important to many. I'll be happy to go back.
We've previously only come at night. Today was transformative. We had tickets to the EVERYTHING EVERYONE ALL AT ONCE FEST. That was a nice event with many food and craft vendors, plus quite varied musical entertainment from multiple bands. Soul, R&B to 2nd Line New Orleans. Found the contoured seats (set of 5), plus the water fountain for kids and pets, and the huge gas fire pit.
Restaurant galore, people, cultures, languages, kids, dogs, motorized personal transport. The weather was around 80, the sun was out, but still at a lower angle. It was like being out of the country. There was a family reunion of at least 15 persons. A wonderful mix of life.
We're very fortunate to live in this marvelous place. So much, so close, so extraordinary. Go.

I hadn't been there in years. I had an appointment nearby and wanted lunch first. Many great choices, easy parking, and a picturesque site. I'll have to go back to try other restaurants.
