Came to Pearl a couple of times recently. One was for their weekend auce dim sum and the other was for a regular dinner. Their auce dim sum was well worth it especially if you got a good buy-1 get-1 deal from Chope. Unlimited roasted duck and pork belly were my faves.
Was also happy with their dinner meals. Ordered the Sichuan crispy fried chicken and it tasted good although I thought that they should have added more of the numbing pepper to give some extra kick. Roasted duck and tofu were satisfactory also.
The staff were attentive and friendly also.

Prepared to be blown away .... by the price :) the Indonesian food I ordered (nasi liwet and beef ribs) was really good but the prices were insurmountably high (even compared with other similar hotels). After tax, Nasi Liwet alone set me back more than 450k. Iga Bakar was not that much different price-wise. Service was great and so was the ambience. I would recommend sitting in courtyard.
Big parking space but still not enough during peak hours. Better go early to get your table as this place can be so crowded.
Went there for super late lunch but the place was still packed. Only a couple of tables were empty. Service was a bit slow and they missed some of the items I ordered.
I had their beef and mutton satay but both were chewy. Beef was just slightly better. The mutton was tough. Flavor was ok although I think it was a bit too sweet.
Based on the satay quality, I think there are many better options out there.
