Red Buffalo Trading
2024 Jan 21
Arizona 01-2024 Tony and I went shopping while in Tombstone at the Red Buffalo Trading Company. There was so much stuff to look at. I purchased several items here for my family members.

I wish I had purchased some additional items there. The place was extremely nice and I highly recommend that you go here if you are in the area.
I loved the old building and the architecture of the interior of this old mercantile store.
Tony and I celebrated his 61st birthday by going to Washington DC.
One of the many memorials we visited was the World War 2 Memorial that is located at the opposite end of the Reflection Pool from the Lincoln Memorial

Tony and I walked 12 miles this particular Saturday as we toured around the city on foot.
The Memorial was very nice and had a Fountain located in the center.
There was a lot of tourist and the day was gorgeous weather very warm with a nice breeze off the Potomac River. This is a lovely city that I enjoy!
Tony's first trip, my 10th!!!
Highly recommend and it's Free to enjoy!
Carderock

On Sunday during Tony's Birthday Trip, We stopped at CarderRock Recreation Area which is part of The Great Falls National Park. It can be seen on both sides of the Potomac River Gorges, Virginia and Maryland.

The fee is $20 per car. Once you pay, your receipt is good for 7 days at any park entry points, including both sides, either states.

At this location there is plenty of Parking but no Visitors Center. There is a nice bathroom facility though and plenty of picnic sites. Several trails along the gorge walls with slippery rocks so wear correct footwear.
Lewis Orchards

Tony and I were driving the back roads in Maryland when we came upon this Orchard Farm Fruits & Veggie store....not a stand, a store!

Tony took the opportunity to smoke, while I shopped. I purchased a Watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, peaches, squash...I love stopping places like this...it reminds me of my parents
While strolling around Downtown Cumberland MD,my husband found the Crossroads of America Mural painted by Parris Ashley in 2016.

It's located on the wall below the RR station tracks at Canal Place. It's absolutely beautiful and inspiring. Just to look at how far we have developed as people, community and technology...I absolutely loved it.
It's free to enjoy. Local parking available and other things to see near by
Highly recommend if you're in the area.
