I've been shopping at the Coles in the Soda Factory quite often recently, but it’s my first time dining here. There is a coffee shop next to it, and it looks like a Latin cafe as well. However, it’s a great Colombian restaurant. BTW, they do sell coffee.
Ordered Beef Empanadas, Sancocho de Gallina y Lulo Juice. It was around 5.30pm when I was here yesterday arvo. There were not many customers and the food was served really quickly.
The empanadas were deep fried, tasty and crispy. The Sancocho de Gallina, or Chicken Sancocho, a warming and soothing soup, was hearty and satisfying, served with avocado and rice. The whole meal was not very heavy, but pretty flavourful, and absolutely delicious. Lulo juice is my favorite, especially in this hottest December in Brissie. Highly recommend.

It's more like a modern art gallery. Small but charming. Looking out of a headless man exhibition window, QUT students can be seen passing by, forming a constantly updated series of works. LOL
It’s an amazing experience to visit Ian Smith’s exhibition in a historic Victorian architecture. The series of works is named ‘Elegy to the Suburban Republic’. No.34 is my favorite. Just love it!
There is an exhibition of John Hutton as well.
Great works! And great place! Definitely a hidden gem. I’m just so sorry that I never thought of stepping into this amazing gallery every time I was having a beer with my mates at the local next door for so many years!
PS: The owner is very friendly.
