Gevora Hotel

Our stay at this Hotel was amazing! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted by the epitome of luxury and hospitality.

The room had the most breathtaking views of the city. The room was huge, it had a small couch space, a kitchen, dressing table and full length mirror as well. The hotel's location was also great.

The highlight, of course, was the stunning rooftop pool. The panoramic views of the city skyline from this vantage point were mesmerizing. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the Dubai sunset.

The one aspect that could be improved are – the elevators. The lifts were notably slow, and not all of them serviced all the floors, leading to extended wait times. The frequent delays in getting an available elevator, became our constant source of frustration. Waiting for 30-45 minutes for a lift to go up or down was a considerable inconvenience, and it impacted the otherwise seamless experience. I hope the hotel management considers addressing this issue to enhance the overall guest experience.

Despite this drawback, the exceptional views of Dubai makes it a luxurious must-stay.
Had a fantastic experience here. We opted for the Gang Rijsttafel with a bottle of wine (which was great btw), and it was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and the portion size was satisfying. While it's a bit pricey, trying Indonesian cuisine for the first time, made it all worth it.

The only improvement could be clearer explanations of the food options by the staff, which could have helped us understand the different menu items. We had a lovely time and I would say its definitely worth a visit. :)
LE CROBAG

I came across this at the Frankfurt station just before catching our train. I grabbed their chicken baguette with mango sauce and absolutely loved it. The mango sauce and chicken paired really well. The bread was impressively fresh, with a satisfyingly thicker crust. The person at the counter was incredibly nice and patient, explaining each item as I couldn't understand German.

Great for a quick bite before you catch your train!
A Padaria Portuguesa

No trip to Lisbon is truly complete without savoring their famous pastéis de nata – a Portuguese custard tarts with sweet egg cream in flaky pastry. We tried them at Padaria, conveniently close to O Trevo. These tarts are a common find all around Lisbon. It was creamy and sweet inside, perfectly flaky outside.
Ganesha Restaurant

This south indian restaurant was nearby to our hotel, while I wouldn't label it as the absolute best, it certainly offered some good options. Our order included biryani, which, unfortunately, didn't meet our expectations. Though the rice was fragrant and flavorful, the meat wasn't cooked to perfection.

On a brighter note, we also tried the idli vada with sambar and chutney, and I must say, the sambar and chutney was very good. The idli was soft and well-prepared, and I loved the vada. Upon request, they also give you extra sambar chutney at no additional cost. The price was reasonable as well. The mango lassi was the best though!

If you're a fan of Indian snacks, this place offers a good variety. One thing to note is that they only accept cash; cards are not accepted. So, it's advisable to keep this in mind when you visit.
