We visited on a Saturday and bought tickets at the door. Not too busy, given it was half term and a really nice experience. The information boards explain the history of Glasgow really nicely. Staff were passionate and knowledgeable and answered most of our questions.
We went just before Koningsnacht and the atmosphere was electric. Service was very friendly and quick too. Food was good - comfort food, and at good value for where we were. We had booked in advance, and that was necessary as it was very busy. Special mention to the apple pie - could eat that for days.
