It's okay since the exhibition was interesting. Nevertheless I had way bigger expectations when I saw "Deutsches" in the name. Like a national museum of textiles obliges. Anyway, staff was nice and my son also enjoyed.
The museum itself is interesting but in terms of trip with children it was the disappointment of the day. The ticket for my 6 years old son was 8 euro but he wasn't allowed to take part in the biggest attraction for children there since he was under 8. Tickets for children though are forc age within the age 4-12 years. No logic there and my son in tears.
Museum is very informative but to pricey. On top of that parking is super small and on the street it's 4euronper hour. It would be perfect place for a days trip but way to expensive.
Astonishing collection of ancient art! Vast and rich. Among others Greek black and red pottery is worth exploring at length.
Saint Ludgerus Treasury is impressive yet not very big. Items gathered here present the story of patron saint of the Basilica and contain library as well as reliquaries and other holy items. Only minus of the place is lack of any information regarding the exposition in English language.
