Awesome park for kids or a good walk, run or bike ride. There are two big basketball courts too.

Nice park to remember the worst part of our history. Seems like it would be hard to have anything but contempt for the Confederacy when you learn stories of the Morgan Raiders. I can almost see a band of people today doing the same thing and putting a flag on their shirt or ball cap and say it is ok because they have a duty to raise up against the government. No, at the individual level this type of raid/warfare is just murder and theft. No honor in that.

Incredible museum that will captures your imagination about the history of Santa Clara and California as a whole. They have new exhibits from time to time and the feature now is Executive Order 9066. These exhibits will challenge your heart concerning what the US Government did to Japanese living in America during WWII. You will be impressed with the art!!

You might overlook this historical monument and see the Mascot instead. Still it is a place to mark history and spur a bit of learning.
