Really one of the best arenas to watch college basketball. For such a large venue, it's pretty intimate setting with a lot of lower level seats. The huge lower bowl student section also helps create an outstanding atmosphere.
Beautiful overlook of the falls! It's a very easy and accessible walk as well. Olmsted Island IS NOT dog friendly so either leave your furry friend at home or with a friend or family members on the canal trail.
The selection is usually pretty good here and the staff is fantastic
Great little park with 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, and 2 playgrounds. The playgrounds are for two different age groups as well. There is also a pavilion with rest rooms.
I really enjoyed my round at Laytonsville. The course is relatively short, with the longest tees being around 6300 yards, but the course has done interesting holes and a good overall design. It's not especially challenging, but tricky enough that it certainly helps to know the course. The staff was also very friendly, especially the starter Sue. The course is in great condition as well. Really strong value and a real gem of a course.
