Pho City

Tried their Smoked Brisket Coconut Peanut Satay Beef Soup and it was one of the best pho I have ever eaten! They have a wide variety of soup, vermicelli bowls, appetizers and even gluten-free meals! Parking here can be tricky so plan ahead!
The Beltliner

Good brunch place at the centre of Beltline and Downtown area. Parking can be tricky so plan ahead. This diner can get busy as early as 10am, waitlist is a must! I find their pancakes dry and bland. We like the ambience though, and the room is wide open with no dividers. It feels like a community. Servers were fast and attentive, though they poached my eggs when I told her I wanted it scrambled.
Weekday lunch can get really packed so plan ahead! Service crew were fast and precise with our orders. I ordered the Pho with rare beef and meat balls. No special about it. But it also tasted good. Their iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was also great! Although I find it on a pricier side.
Fat Kee Noodle House

Fast, authentic, delicious! Fat Kee is so underrated in Chinese food scene in the city. I think it’s one of the best Chinese resto outside Chinatown. The place get packed real quick during lunch hours. And there is only ONE staff who takes orders and bring food to the table! Now that deserves a big tip! The service was fast! We got our meals 5mins after we ordered! Their Tossed Noodles in Beef, Ginger and Onion tasted amazing. I love the texture of their thin noodles, and the delicious taste of oyster and soy sauce. Their shrimp wonton noodle soup was delicious too! Not bland or too salty. I’d definitely coming back to try their other dishes.
Went here for Chinese Lunary dinner with my partner and we were surprised that we are the only dine-in customer around 5:30pm. People started to arrive around 7pm, but they have a lot of tables so I don’t think they ever get full (post-pandemic). We ordered 4 dishes; fried duck, fried noodles with seafood, fried shrimp with salted egg and yang chow fried rice. All plates had big servings! (good for 3-5 people/dish) obviously we didn’t finish everything, but we got a lot of take-out food good for 2 days! Service was a bit slow cause there were a lot of Skip the dish deliveries that they were helping. Overall, I would come back again here soon and treat my whole family! We only spent $60 for everything! Delicious food, great value!
