Well, it took three years, but I finally found East Coast pizza here in Southern California! If the name is familiar to you, it’s because Prince Street in Manhattan is one of the best pizza places there is. The sauce on this pie; the correct cheese to sauce ratio, and the plethora of great pepperoni slices cut just the right way were perfect. Also, the crust was just crispy enough to remind me of New York. The Square cut had almost a Greek feel to it. When I get back to Swampscott, I’m going to tell one of Portnoy‘s buddies that he needs to try Prince Street in San Diego when he comes to Del Mar. One bite, everybody knows the rules… Now, if I can just find good bar pizza like they have in Lynn, Lynn the city of sin…

Great spot. Long, loooonnngg’ drive if you are coming from civilization. Trailhhead is an easy find, good parking, & hike is way under an hour, which is crazy short for what you get to see!

No tix required. Gave it 4-Shamrocks because I like a little longer hike 🍀🍀🍀🍀
