Super sketchy old building, unique art deco finishings however not open to the public. Doorman seemed intoxicated when we went in and fell getting up to open door. The place has seen better days. Not worth the walk.
Great kids space, opens early with convenient parking. Fun place to play out of the heat. Inside refreshment stand with fresh made coffee drinks and bakery items made daily.
Great selection of comfortable clothing at reasonable prices. Great tropical feel.
Located at the east entrance of Lafayette square, old Ben is a great meeting place before and after the traditional Wednesday nights in the square free music concerts held in the spring and fall.
What a truly unique experience to be able to walk through one of these old submarines. It really gave us an appreciation of what life on board a submarine would be like. It is narrow and quite a few stairs but well worth the effort.
