The NYC subways have a personality all of the own. In the summer they’re a bit warm, but in the winter that warmth is so welcoming. In heavy rain it’s a great way to avoid getting soaked.
Perfect for a nice stroll before or after the lighthouse. Very well maintained grounds. Perfect for watching boats come in and go out of the lake. Very comfortable benches which seem new, but have a very vintage vibe. Not very crowded and all the guests were very courteous. It seems to be dog friendly.
Location, location, location. Perfect spot for some great fast food. I had the Chicken Supreme. It was good, fresh, not to spicy, peppers and olives were noticeably good. My friend had the Chiwawa Chili Dog. Ok, I had a small bite of it. Good dog, lots of cheese, and the ben was just baked fresh. Friendly service and reasonable prices. I'd go back.
If you're anywhere near Grand Haven this is a must see. It clearly is an icon. bring you camera. Choose your parking wisely, there are ample lots. That said it is a beautiful area to walk around. Getting out to the lighthouse was straight forward. The walk area was clean and safe. People of all ages were venturing out on the pier.

A beautifully preserved gem! It's a real hub of local cultural activity. It's the HQ for the Saugerties Historical Society, a community center and during the summer hosts concerts. Both the interior and exterior were very well maintained.Clean and very presentable. The staff was warm and inviting. They enjoy what they do and it shows. I'm definitely going back.
