Visited on a Sunday morning. Ticket fee is Rs. 100 for adults. Entered quickly with no waiting/queue for ticket purchase.
Didn't really expect much visiting a zoo as adults. However, we did end up enjoying every bit of the 3 hours spent in the zoo. The variety of animals and bird species with details of each mentioned in a visible and informative way, was quite good.
The place is well maintained with all facilities/amenities available.
Total walking distance is around 4km. You can opt for an electric buggy if you cannot walk (extra Rs. 200 per person)
They have a restaurant somewhere mid-way through the zoo. Food, snacks and Beverages are available. Quality and price is decent.
Recommended to visit in the morning, as it gets quite hot in the afternoon and also must animals go inside the shelter or are inactive post noon.
Overall a must visit for people of all ages visiting Mysore.
