Opal Fish

We came here with a friend who was visiting from the states as we heard good things about the food. We were a group of 7 and simply wanted to eat a dinner together at the restaurant.
Unfortunately, the marachet said that we are too many people for her restaurant and we had to order take away and find somewhere else to sit and eat the food...

We ordered take away and during the 50 min that it took waiting for the food, a massive table opened up. So, I asked the marachet if we could sit there. She said no.

I told her we didn't even get the food yet and we can just change it from TA to sitting inside. She said "no, those are the rules".

We easily just spent over 800 shekel at this restaurant and we had to sit and eat it elsewhere, while there was a perfectly open table at the restaurant.

Never experienced such disgraceful customer service. Absolute shameful.

If you're looking for a sewer, David Haiit is your guy. He Is located inside Dizengoff Center across from Zara, the last store in the row (right by the exit/entrance).

Very professional, quick, and respectful.

He hemmed my pants on the spot and was respectful to other customers while doing so. Highly recommend!!!

Second time dining at the Blue Rooster as an anniversary dinner and, unfortunately, was a bit disappointed this time. While the food was great, like the time before, the scenery was surprisingly unexpected. We made a reservation at around 9 pm and when we arrived, there were only 3 other tables dining. However, it took quite some time to receive the menus as the waiter didn't really notice that we sat down.
That's fine, but the noise that the waitres and the bartender made when they were clearing all the tables and their section was quite appalling and distracting, to say the least. I mean, I understand you would like to close the restaurant but can you do it quieter or don't take reservations before you close... have a little respect for the customers.

Also, please plan your timing better with sending out meals. Just because you cook the main meal quickly, doesn't mean I'd like to have it 2 minutes after you bring out the appetizer and have to squeeze everything onto the tiny tables and let everything just go cold.

Vendors are extremely nice and hard-working. The whole area is always bust, especially on the weekends. Great stands with lots of options for food, drinks, snacks, desserts, everything. Cash and credit are accepted throughout all the stands. Grab a bite and sit in the sun in front of the ocean. Sometimes, there are artists who play music as well. Enjoy!

The food was fine when we were there, but we both came back with painful stomach aches, heartburn, and felt ill.

The older waitress was extremely sweet, but the younger ones were blantley rude and asked for a tip up front (before we even paid). Won't be going back here anytime soon...
