The Steak House
2024 Jun 02
This is a great steak house. Some of the tables have swings hanging from the ceiling to sit on. I was surprised on the price that it would be half the cost of a steak in the US. This place is all about the meat, it didn't appear to have vegetable options besides salad. French fries or mashed potatoes would come with the steaks.
The boat only travels a short distance, but the ride is 30 -40 minutes long. You learn about the history of the town which was interesting to me. It was a pleasant ride and some nice sites along the route. I think for the price and the experience, it's a great value and worth checking it out.
I bought an open ticket at the cruise line dock and it needed to be turned into a time slot ticket at the canal boat dock. That was a little confusing and not explained when I purchased it. The tour itself was nice. They have earphones to plug in for multiple languages to listen along the way. The captain added English and German comments also. It was a relaxing way to see some of the city.
Nice little place in the country. They have a bunch of cider on tape and they do flights. They have several local beers on tap as well and also do flights of them. I saw a wine list so I assume you can buy wine also. They have a few things to order food wise. I was there on Friday they had line dancing but was told they have bands on Saturday. I saw a nice stage outside and there was nice seating outside.
