Mahon Park is a great place to go for a walk with the dog or kids. The park features several lovely trails and a couple of creeks. The trails can get muddy and slippery at certain times of the year, so bring appropriate footwear. A few trails have steep inclines, so they may not be suitable for the elderly or those with physical disabilities.

A great little park to take the kids and dogs. The beautiful duck pond is a highlight, as well as a small creek. There are free public tennis courts and a well-equipped children's playground.

Hunter Park has trails, creeks and a large pond with ducks. It's a great place to take the kids or dogs for all-weather walking. The main trails here are flat and easy, so they are perfect for older folks or those with disabilities. You can park for free on any of the nearby streets. Budget at least 30 minutes for your visit.
