A solid museum that gives you a good overview of Freemasonry and how it’s evolved through the years. What am I to make of the suggestion that it’s all just fraternal camaderie and charity? You would say that if you were a global conspiratorial syndicate running the world behind closed doors, no?!? 😆
Still, well worth a visit for the extensive displays of regalia and memorabilia. Oh, and the fact that it’s free to enter doesn’t hurt one bit. 😀

Tate Modern probably gets most of the headlines, but this gallery is probably one of our favourite places for art in London. The Turner collection alone makes this museum a must-visit for Art lovers in London. The staff are friendly, and the museum shop is world class. Did I mention that the art collection here is fantastic?? Well worth a visit to get a great panoramic view of British art through the centuries.
Also - it’s free to enter!!!!

This place has been in BV2 forever, but we have only recently been patronising the place. Good food at relatively affordable prices - especially the chicken biryani! The diverse menu makes repeat visits especially welcome. The service could be improved (both times we’ve been here, I was halfway through my meal before my wife’s food arrived) and the interior decor is a bit meh, but for the price, the food can’t be beat!
