Amazing food. Had the shrimp and grits, strawberry salad, and bread basket for brunch for two. The iced tea and Arnold Palmer were excellent, especially the Arnold Palmer with lemonade from the Oak Cliff Cane Sugar Soda. The grits had a nice texture with a cheese taste. On top was a sauce with some light Cajun spices and the shrimp was large, fresh, grilled to perfection with some good Cajun spice. I loved the bread basket with the jam and sugar butter. The salad was fresh, simple and delicious. Definitely cleaned my plate and will be back soon. By the way, the atmosphere is great. Casual outside and fancy inside.
Excellent food, vibe and indoor and outdoor space. This is a staple of north oak cliff. It is close to Kessler Park and Bishops Arts and it has been in business for many years. The staff are friendly and feel like family. I had the brisket burger, fries and a made-to-order iced tea with the just-right Goldilocks sweetness I rarely find. Burger had great flavor with a nice crispy bun and steak fries had nice spice. Highly recommended.
Modern Israeli. Atmosphere is very nice with dim lights and lots of wood carved panels on the wall. The hummus special with the harissa sauce had a nice spicy flavor. The Israeli salad was very fresh and had a night light marinate. The freshly backed pita bread was amazing and I loved the chicken kabob. The chicken was moist but with a nice char.
Excellent cappuccino with nice crema. We had a late breakfast with bagels and egg and cheese sandwiches. Bagels were fresh, toasted just right, with some soft cream cheese. The egg, cheese and spinach sandwich was on nice toasted and buttered bread (I think sourdough) and had really nice flavor. General vibe was nice and relaxed. Would definitely go back next time I’m in the neighborhood.
