Belgard Kitchen

Cool spot in Railtown that has a large dining area and full serve kitchen. Though I’m saddened to hear they are shutting down their brewery in the near future.

The food is solid, comes fairly quick, despite a smaller kitchen, and has a variety of foods available. The weekly features are also a nice way to keep regulars coming in to try new things.

Also, their popcorn is delicious and usually always has some cool seasoning to it. I personally like the sweet honey one that they had in the past.

Overall, a cool place to grab a bite and a drink, whether on a date, with friends, or with coworkers - chill vibe with friendly service.
Bar Harbor

Lobster roll the way you want it! You can choose from 3 different styles of lobster roll and a side. It’s not cheap though, you’re looking at $25ish for the lobster roll and it’s not large in size either.

They do have a really cool bar attached to the restaurant, so have fun with some drinks or after work hang out.

Overall, a little on the expensive side, but tasty, and a cool little hang out spot in downtown Seattle.
Bar Susu at Novella

I’ve always been a fan of Bar Susu, and this is their “new” location after a fire at their old one. Apparently it’s only temporary as they’ll be heading back once the place is done with renovations.

Anyway, the food is just as good as I remembered it to be and their drinks are delicious.

I definitely like the family sharing style tapas as we get to try a bit of everything. Definitely liked the beef tartare a lot and the cheese puffs.

Definitely recommend coming out here with a groups so you can maximize the menu. It’s a good spot for a night out and a treat for yourself.
Zoomak Korean Tavern

This place can get super busy especially during lunch. Their lunch sets usually sell out so if you’re with a group and they can’t make up their minds, place your order first.

They have a lot of seating but they don’t really maximize it, probably a timing thing.

Food wise, this place is delicious. I’ve tried a few different times and every time has been wonderful. Their stone bowl rice is great, the fried chicken is great, and the lunch sets offer incredible value.

Overall, a fun spot to stop by in Gastown if you’re in the area and in the mood for Korean food.
This place gets busy during lunch and dinner in the summer and it’s one of my go to lunch spots during work. It’s a laidback environment with a large patio in the middle of Gastown - but hurry because the shaded spots get taken quick.

The food here is solid and consistent. We know what we are getting each time we order, a few of my favourites are the dumplings, the fried chicken ramen, as well as the fish taco. Similar style to Cactus Club in food and drinks.

They feature a rotating tap menu which gets confusing sometimes because you could be more interested in what’s coming up, but I guess that’s how they keep you coming.

Definitely a cool spot to hangout in the summer. I do find that service and food comes faster when you’re seated indoors, so if you don’t get a patio spot, there’s pros to being inside.
