An absolute must visit temple. It’s a very big temple complex with greenery all around. Just a look at the gaint trees will make you aware of the temple’s antiquity. The temple is one of the finest examples of Malabar architecture and awe inspiring murals painted with vegetable colours. We can easily spend a couple of hours looking at the murals depicting various ‘Puranas’. Don’t miss the evening ‘Arti’ (soon after sunset) and morning 4.15 AM darshan where Sri Wadakkunathan abhishekam with ghee is performed. I pray that I visit this temple again and again🙏
