Separate small and large dog areas. Reasonable size park for small dogs. Lots of seating. A little bit of shade. No water fountain in the park but there is a washroom with a fountain just outside the pet entrance. Fairly busy when I was there.
More of a trail than a park. From what I could tell, it seems like there are 2 paths that more or less run parallel to each other, but don't connect. This means when you get to the end of one path, you have to return to walk the second path. Trash can near the parking lot, but none on the trail. Not a long trail, so there was just one bench near the parking lot. No water fountain or washrooms. Nice area to walk if you live in the area; was empty when I was there.
Nice city trail to walk a leashed dog. Be aware that there are lots of cyclists. On occassion there are horses on the path.
Maybe the largest open area dog park I’ve seen in OC for large dogs. The small dog area was a fraction of the size. Street parking available but it is along a highway with lots of traffic.
Nice walk but don't expect to see much wildlife until you get to the lake. The lake area itself is quite nice with ducks, turtles and some odd looking birds. I parked near a Chase bank as I didn't see a starting parking lot. Note that if you walk to the end of the lake, I would suggest you do walk back the same way you got there (the Juanita Cooke Trail) and not walk back through the Laguna Lake Park trail as after the park you will have to walk quite a bit on a busy street with no sideway.
