I found their milk at the Met Market and was intrigued. So I brought home their whole milk. Now, I've had a variety of milk in my life - cow milk, buffalo milk, goat milk etc. I can say, this is the absolute top tier milk I have had. It reminded me of the milk we used to get in India where we had to fetch it daily from our local milkman. The chai that I made using this milk is the absolute best I have tasted.
I always wanted to check out this restaurant. The staff was very cheerful and attentive. The decor is minimal but the food talks out loud. We got the loobia polo and the pomegranate-walnut curry with chicken. It was amazing. The chicken was tender and the curry was tangy and rich. I have never had a walnut based curry before. The portions are huge so you can make two meals at least out of the entrees.
This coffee shop is kind of by itself on this street. We ordered a mocha with oat milk and a latte with tiki syrup which was seasonal. We also got a coconut cookie and a potato roll. The coffees were excellent and flavorful. Wow. The cookie was delicious and the crust on the roll was so fresh. This is a hidden gem.
We arrived on a saturday morning. There was a huge queue to enter already. We ordered an oat milk mocha and a cold brew. The cold brew was delightful. The mocha was highly disappointing. I couldn’t taste any chocolate in it. It has a sister restaurant inside for ordering food.
This is a big coffee shop located in Cap Hill. There are two order lanes. We arrived on a rainy day and got a mocha with oat milk and caramel latte. The caramel latte was so aromatic and probably the first proper latte I’ve had with a proper caramel flavor. The mocha was okay. The decor and ambiance is on point too.
