Canal Walk
2024 Feb 21
We went on a nice sunny morning in February mainly to see some murals, but had an enjoyable walk. We did not have much time on our hands, so were there only for a short while.
Located in a garden behind the Finnish Church, this Statue which is just 15 cm tall is considered to be the smallest public monument in Stockholm.
The exhibits are only on the fourth floor and encourage contemplation. The location is amazing and one can enjoy beautiful views from the glass walls on the fourth floor. One can sit on the benches out there and enjoy watching the boats go by as well as planes taking off from Logan airport. After visiting the museum, taking a walk along the boardwalk is totally worth it.

It was a very lively place with the Puerto Rican festival underway. There were lots of food trucks, music, games etc.
Sid Richardson Museum
2023 Jul 10
It is a small museum with only 2 rooms to display paintings and a few bronze sculptures from the collection of Sid Richardson. The docent was heard explaining some of the works to other visitors and offered good services to us too. But we were short on time as we had a flight to catch. The western paintings by Charles Russell and Frederic Remington were impressive and the short descriptions of each of the paintings help in understanding the details. Apparently the displays are changed often. There is a self portrait of Frederic Remington and a bronze sculpture of Charles Russell. It was worth the quick stop.
