Old museum about Indonesian ethnobotany worth a visit. You can easily spend one hour in this museum with many explanations about spices, specifics of regions in Indonesia. Would be better with some renovation.

First time eating in Rijsttafel Resto. This is a quite famous restaurant in Bandung with old dutch style atmosphere. Food is good with lot of choices. Prices are a bit on the upper level, but still affordable. Recommended if you visit Bandung. You can also enjoy breakfast here as it opens starting at 6am!

After 13 years in Jakarta, first time visiting this museum, following the advice of my mother. This museum is located below the Monas. It is quite large, while it is not as big as a standard museum. However you can see plenty of miniature reproductions of scenes from historical events that happened in Indonesia, covering the colonial period up to the events in 1965 in Lubang Buaya. It is quite a good way to read the Indonesian history in a short and easy way, quite good for kids.

Nice park for kids to play many kinds of activities from flying fox, archer, boat, etc. Tickets a bit on the high price, but still worth it.

This museum worth a little visit especially bringing kids. Many artifacts especially guns are displayed together with some reproductions of historical scenes.
