Love this well maintained county park. The campground is more like an RV park but has decent sized, level sites with water/ electric hookups, so we like to visit every now and then. Bathrooms with showers are available and have always been clean when we visit. The park has 2 sections; one for campers and another area for day use. Bathrooms in the camping section house the showers and require a key code to use. There is a covered Pavilion that can be rented in the campground area. There is a separate area for tent campers down by the water that you have to walk a short distance to, but it's a cute little area. There are playgrounds in both sections, but I think the campground has the bigger one. There is a boat launch and parking available but I have no idea how much that costs. There is an RV dump station. The park has trails, with one that I think connects to nearby Rockport State Park, which can lead up to Sauk Mountain if you wish but i think there is a small fee to park if you are not physically in the park. Dogs are welcome but are required to be leashed and picked up after. Bags are available. Rockport Bar & Grill is nearby and is a yummy place to visit. Overall, it's a cute little county gem that we love to visit.

Fantastic little stop that's free entry. The docents are friendly and have lots of information to share. The center has information on all of the launches that have happened on the Spaceflight station and it's really interesting seeing all of the information in one room.
Fantastic tour and guides! I took the tour mostly to visit the lighthouse but it turned out to be so much more. We stopped at multiple launch sites, a couple of small museums and even a quick stop at a beautiful uncrowded beach. Kevin was our driver and Karen was our guide. She grew up in the area and it was great hearing stories of all of the excitement she lived through. There was so much to see and learn. Well worth your time!
Neat little museum set up on the Space Force Station. Lots of information and things to see. Was there as part of a tour so entry to the museum was part of our tour cost, unsure if there is a cost otherwise. Bathrooms were on site.
Another beautiful lighthouse with a great history. The volunteers on site were friendly and provided lots of information. They got so excited when I told them I would need a stamp for my Lighthouse Passport, it was great. As noted on the website, you can only climb to the 5th floor but it's worth it. Small museum and gift shop are located in the reconstructed keepers house. Restrooms are on site and were clean.
