A group of 6 of us pulled in here for lunch on a Thursday around noon. By 12:30, there wasn't an empty seat to be found. People know the food is good here. The Reuben sandwich was noted to be not very messy. Fries were tasty and homemade. They were of the fatter size and medium-soft texture, great with vinegar. Onion rings were delicious. As was the cheeseburger. It was a pretty straightforward burger, the patty was tasty, the lettuce on the bottom was a little different. I'd probably get a double next time. The veggie sandwich was "exactly the same as my grandparents make" according to one member of our troupe, basically just a few veggies and a slice of cheese on a bun. The only two people working while we were there was a friendly older couple, she on the grill, he handling the tables. If you are in the area and looking for something homemade and very reasonably priced, this is your spot.
If you are visiting from Canada, don't miss walking around Historic Downtown Grand Forks. It's like the Exchange District in Winnipeg, but smaller. Several neat shops and restaurants and bars.
