The word of the evening was "lovely" because I said it over and over! You can reserve the different pavilion areas for events and it is such a beautiful place to do it. We enjoyed our walk through the park and I had a great time taking pictures and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a picnic or a sweet date!
This was an interesting experience to check out. It is a free museum but you can make a donation on site or online. The upstairs portion is much more information based while the downstairs is more hands on. Kids we saw there seemed to enjoy the downstairs as they can scan products to learn more about how they are made as well as where they come from.
We bought a three hour package for a birthday that included one hour in the party room and two hours "free for all" style. The only real negative thing that happened was that they forgot to put the pizza in the oven so we ended up not having the pizza until about 30 minutes into our one hour with the party room. That being said, we didn't let it hurt the day as we went into presents and cake and that did the trick. Additionally, when the pizza did arrive, everyone said it was worth the wait and was delicious! Not your typical kids birthday pizza. After that, well, the kids had a great time on the go carts, tiltawhirl, Lazer maze, arcade, bumper cars, and water balloons! Heads up, 50 credits in the arcade doesn't go far but, for our group, I was happy because they would have spent the entire time in the arcade! While we had the one hiccup with the food, the staff was super nice and I know my son wants to come back for his birthday as well so we'll see what a winter package looks like. The kids LOVED it!
