Really amazing hike. It is tough with around 900m of elevation gain. Lots of trails and good trail markers to stay on the right path. Have to use ropes and chains on some parts of the trail. But well worth it, amazing views from a couple viewpoints, waterfalls. We took about 4 hours with a few slower people in our group and took the gondola down after.
Amazing food. Had a couple different fried rice and it was always light and fluffy with a good level of spice. Got the yellow curry last time and it was incredible. Salad rolls were nice and refreshing. Staff was also very nice and made for a great time.
Went back again tonight and had the khao soi which was a special. It had an amazing creamy coconut curry flavour, the chicken was fall apart tender. Noodles were perfectly cooked with some crispy ones for a nice texture. The lemon grass chicken (not pictured) was perfectly cooked, tender, moist with a red curry and strong lemon grass flavour. The rice was the chef's special and nice and spicy but light and airy. Had the tom kha soup and it was creamy, coconut with just the perfect amount of spice. We finished with some homemade coconut ice cream.
Worth the trip from Burnaby!
