While we like a quiet and rustic campground, this campground is just not well maintained. The site we were on was a pretty good but open and close to neighbours. The bathrooms were probably original from the 60s, not clean and had people's personal items in them (ie razor, shampoo etc) The men's and women's were also not separate even though you could lock the stall door. There was no where to put garbage other than finding the owner to give it to her which wasn't helpful when we were leaving. And the biggest problem is that there is NO DUMP STATION! We had to take our trailer to the provincial park which was 10 minutes away and had to pay $15.50. If you are considering staying in this area I would suggest Six Mile Provincial Park. Don't get me wrong, the owner and staff were very friendly, I just think the park is is need of upgrades and cleaning before they can charge that type of money.
Update: I received a very nice reply from the owner who explained the reasons for the condition of the park. She added that she was reconsidering the rates she was charging for this season. If you are thinking of booking here just be mindful and ask more questions so you are aware of the conditions when you arrive.
