I don’t usually leave reviews but this felt important. My husband and I have been in bars in almost 40 countries and this was one of the worst experiences. We were really excited when we saw the menu - it was very unique! However, they were unable to make the drink that I wanted and 2 drinks my husband wanted because there was some sort of shortage? However we have had no issues in all the other bars in Budapest. We ended up getting 2 decent but nothing special drinks for a whole lot more expensive then you would find elsewhere. Then, they didn’t have a credit card machine which was not told to us up front. We had to pay by PayPal and it’s 2024. This makes no sense. The owner was there and was drinking more than anyone. He was rude to his staff in front of us as we sat at the bar and it seems like he just wants to penny pinch (such as not paying for a CC machine) and charge a lot for drinks to take in profits and not care about customer experience since he has a menu that can’t even be made. You’re better off going to the many other amazing bars in Budapest.
