Flotsam PR

Took the 45-minute Harbor Cruise, nice, friendly crew, good boats. They also have the Whale Watch cruises. Took it because I wanted pictures of as many ships as possible. Real nice.

This area the north side of San Pedro Harbor is real nice; great harbors, nice hotels, Fort MacArthur Air Force Base, a breakwater to take walks on and terrific view of the ship traffic coming in and out of Long Beach and San Pedro.

Renovations of surrounding area just finished. Really a terrific area with lots to see and do. There is the American Merchant Marine Veterans Memorial next to the Maritime Museum, which is adjacent to a number of docks with ships and boats of every description.
