I love that the statue is surrounded by many beautiful and colorful flowers. Looking at it feels like you're in past. Truly beautiful and iconic to San Diego!

I love viewing this old lighthouse around sunset! Plus, it was one of the original Top Gun houses.

The best time of year to visit is in late November and December, when the sunset matches closing time. Plus, it's quieter and feels more private! Still, it's a great spot to explore, look out into the ocean, and dream!

There is always something going on down here! It's great to just walk around or get a bite and drink. 5th Ave is mostly closed off from traffic so you can walk a few blocks and just people watch. The night hours are when it get kinda crazy and busy so get there early for parking. My only concern is the the street really need to be cleaned more often, all the foot traffic can make certain areas feel kinda dirty.

A must-see if you visit downtown San Diego! It's fun to park and walk around to see all the shops and restaurants and bars.
