The history of the city of Buffalo comes alive at the Buffalo History Museum.
This large three-story museum takes you on a tour of Buffalo like you've never seen before.
There are many exhibits covering the many achievements made in Buffalo in history, culture, arts, sports, entertainment, and politics, just to name a few.
As a frequent visitor to Buffalo, and having grown up across the lake In Crystal Beach, ON, there are still so many stories i am finding out about the history of Buffalo all the time. The Buffalo History Museum is an excellent way to. Learn about Buffalo and discover a newfound appreciation for New York's other big city.

We had a great time exploring the museum; we lost track of time, and we were the last people in the museum after closing time.
The cost to enter the museum is very inexpensive, and a visit to the museum should be included in your next roguetrip to Buffalo.
In the area where the museum is located, there are lovely parks to explore and statues to see (Lincoln x2, Michelangelo's David, and much more). Plus, the new art gallery is now open, as is the nearby Richardson hotel and the Forest Lawn cemetery, which is home to many notable Buffalonians, celebrities, and others. It is one of the most exciting cemeteries around.

We love visiting Buffalo - and discovering new and exciting things to do and learning stories of the City. A visit to The Buffalo History Museum is a great place to start on that journey.

The Erie canal is a real marvel of engineering. We have visited the Erie Canal locks in Lockport many times, and enjoyed it, so a visit to the discovery centre was in order to learn the history of its construction, design, and importance to western and upstate new york.
This is a small museum with a number of artefacts, information on the canal and how the locks work.
There is a 10 minute video that is actually quite fun.

If you are ever in the Lockport area, be sure to visit
Discovery centre, as well as the locks, explore the caves, and ride the canal.

Small local museum with a huge connection to America’s favourite sport.
Did you know the first baseball game that was ever reported on was held NEAR St Mary’s?
In the small town of St Mary’s is the Canadian baseball hall of fame, adjacent to a baseball diamond.
This is a surprising collection of baseball artifacts, memorabilia, and attractions.
You will learn a lot about the game of baseball.
It is a small museum, but there are a lot of artifacts.
The Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expo exhibits are fairly extensive.
This is a great museum for the history of baseball for the fans of the game. Kids will love it, as much as the adults.

Fun, retro diner in the heart of Stratford
As frequent visitors to the city of Stratford, we always have many options for dining whenever we are in town, and we try to eat at different places every time to get the full Stratford experience.
We were attracted to Whatever 75 for their fun décor and retro vibe. We had wanted to check it out for a while, and decided today was the day.

The décor is very Superhero / comic book style with décor and iconography, with a a lot of campy rainbows and unicorn style.
This is a very open concept diner – you can watch the food being prepared as you eat.

The menu is mostly burgers, fries and shake, as well as pizzas and other items. They offer a number of burger & shake flavour options.
The burgers are nice and well done. The shakes are huge and thick made from real ice cream – in many flavours – and you can even make it a boozy shake if you wish.

WHile we were there, they did a lot of takeout for pizzas and burgers, so this is a very popular local restaurant.

The service is good – the waitstaff are all very friendly and attentive.

This is a nice casual burger and shake joint with a very cool, funky vibe.
It is very LGBTQI friendly, with donations being made to LGBTQI causes when you purchase specific items.

The restaurant is conveniently located to central Stratford Downtown.
Monopoly in the Park

Because we came to San Jose - we knew we had to look for the Monopoly in the Park attraction.
We had seen it many times on other people's Instagrams and thought it might be a good roadside attraction worth visiting.

It is incredibly hard to get to if you are just driving through San Jose. There is a major roadway with no parking to stop at and just grab a quick photo.
We had to pull into the drop off section at the children's museum nearby and run over to the park while someone stayed in the car.

It is a recreation of a giant Monopoly board in the centre of a children's playground.
However, I assumed there would be tokens, etc but there were not. There are other figures in the park but they have nothing to do with the monopoly board.

As a roadside attraction, it is a bit of a bust. It was too difficult to access, too far away from the nearest parking spot, and not really all that fun for photos.

My recommendation is - DO NOT go looking specifically for this roadside attraction. If you are nearby - check it out. As much as Roguetrippers love oversized things, and quirky attractions, This one was a bit of a letdown.
