First visit and we loved it .
Easy to find a seat at lunch time
We only wanted coffee and cake as we were off to a concert in the symphony hall which is nearby.
Tables were being cleared quickly . Nice atmosphere and interesting to be sitting in a former bank .
Toilets and an area for children to sit ..
Some very comfortable armchairs perfect for retirees
The menu looked good with homemade soup and a vegetable hot pot using produce from Winterbourne. This cafe is run by Birmingham university.
A fantastic leisure centre which hosted a walking netball tournament..hence my visit.
Swimming pool ,squash courts ,classroom, balcony viewing of the sports hall, gym with equipment
Free parking .Good toilet facilities .
Drinks available.

Sunday 5 th June party in the park for the Queen's platinum jubilee!
Rainy and a bit chilly but lots of fun to be had .
Great music from Vanz. Fleetwood Mac and the Kinks to name a couple .
A special display of jubilee photographic memories from 1935 and 1953 was excellent .
Lots of food and drink stalls ,one from the Crown Wharfe .
Children's face painting and a musical roundabout.
People out and about with their large umbrellas.

West bridge park has undergone a huge transformation since my last review!

A wonderful children's park with a zip wire ,a basketball court and a skate park . Also a woodland area with carved animals and some climbing frames . Plus a sunken garden with seating next to M and S. Toilets too.
Very busy car park! But even at a peak time we managed to find a space. Nice and close to the shops. Two hours for free!
