Absolutely beautiful flora and fauna. We loved the meandering walkways that gently guide you through the park. There's something to discover around every bend. I particularly loved the sand martin nesting bank, which was brimming with life. The wooden reed walkway, the willow objects, fences and sphere, and the Wetlands Secrets hut were other highlights. Not to mention the birds and the hides. It all feels very natural, and with the woods as the backdrop even a bit like a European jungle, yet is easily accessible. You can see glimpses of the castle between the trees, which gives everything a magical feeling. Personally I liked the wilder parts of the park more than the fenced in areas with the more exotic birds.
We went on a slightly drizzly Friday and it wasn't crowded - we actually thought it was the perfect weather for the scenery and there were many options for shelter. If you want to go on a boat tour, don't hesitate booking, as they fill up very quickly.
