I had worked from September 22 2021 to June 2022 in Cars24 UAE during the tenure when the lay off started from March that year. This is mainly about the ill-treatment and discriminatory treatment done to me by Connect Resources. This is actually my third review as i had removed my first review due to promises given to Mr Liam, who was kind enough to call me to the office and listen to my story and he agreed with me about their Shaheen and Sachi who were not only unprofessional with me but also very poor in their communication to me. HE promised he will take action against them and said if they find any job matching my skillset he will contact me so in good gesture i took the first review. I waited for 2 to 3 months, still they didn't take any action on them. I posted a second review and then they sent the PRO of that Time, Sultan who came and met me in Burjuman mall, listen to my take agreed with me and promised he will speak to the owner of the Company and arrange a meeting with me so that i can explain and give proofs. he made me sign a legal document statement that i am withdrawing my review or they will get me banned from working in UAE. I requested number from him send me a copy of my signed letter or send me the english translation it was never sent to me. I have decided let me just put out the facts on how this company was really discriminatory towards me and didn't accord me the equal rights of the other terminated people. As said earlier, a) during the mass layoffs on a single day three of us were made let go, George and Qais amongst them. On email by Cars24 we were told if we want a extension then we can request it and it will be given to us by Connect resources. So i had requested that in email to given me the same which was denied by Shaheen. I and George had gone together to their office and in front of me, they said to George if you pay us advance salary, we will extend your visa by 1 month and we will send it bacl, this is for labour purposes ad when i said to Shaheen didnt i ask the same and i will do the same, she said it is entirely her wish who she will give extension and said to her legal team if i dont sign the labour cancellation today, proceed to ban me. i raised a complaint with labour and they agreed a settlement b) Unpaid money: the settlement amount given by them was lower than the actual amount and i asked for the calculation Sachi, told there is no proof those days, and they dont pay anyone who work on official holidays, i said our attendance was eye scan and she claimed they dont have the record of anyone during those period. With a lot of back and forth with labour and MOHRE, she then climed down said sorry and gave me the right amount. c) Reason for termination: I had just sent a mailing what was the reason for making me redundant and Shaheen replied saying it was due to some performance issues, i asked how is that possible as in April i had completed by 6 months probabtion got a good employee letter from them and in mid may to mid june i was on vacation and suddenly how after coming from vacation i was removed due to performance issues, so basically she was lying. in the mean time, Sonam from Card24(HR manager) called me asking what is the matter and when she heard it, she promised she will tell Connect resources to send me email aplogising for it and it never came. so finally with MOHre help, i got the good conduct certificate. Connect resources had the audacity to come on Talk 100.3 UAE and speak about HR and all. I never understood why they acted so cheaply against me. I was given only 21 days to sign my cancellation, i know people who got 2,3, evne more than 9 months for visa cancellation. They called to their office insulted me, they indirectly threatened me that they will barred me from employment in UAE. I really need to show the true faces to whoever reads it, really hope you dont face it. i am sure there are so many others who faced the same from these unprofessional people. I hope the management investigate all such cases and take the right action.

I did my CIPD Level 3 in HR from Bradfield in Dubai.

I got selected for PHRI and SHRM official training institutes as well in Cyprus but I chose CIPD (that too Level 3) thinking that its better than others and surely best in the field and it would give me great amount of basic practical knowledge and surely get me ahead in my career. Though all my peers in India strongly advised against it and asked me to go for SHRM as its an US certification which guarantees a job and it finishes off in less than three months.

Now I really regret my decision to have pursued CIPD as I am unable to redeem my CIPD status on job sites and have not got any single call for a job....I have applied for atleast 3000 vacancies around the globe.(You can go through my assignments to find out about my knowledge, intelligence and abilities).

It has become a sham for me as all the tall claims and promises seemed false about CIPD.

I invested all my hard earned savings into this as this is the most expensive professional HR qualification in the world( 20000 AED is very big amount in Indian currency) {and it lasted for almost two years for me(though the pandemic can be blamed for that)} but to not even a get a job even here in gulf for AED 3000 is really disturbing. Even labour class earns more than that here.

I am unemployed, with no money left...highly frustrated at the moment and have become a laughing stock in my circle....my peers jeer at me all the time. Its taking a heavy toll on my mental health and I made visits to a psychiatrist and a counsellor 6 times in last 4 months just to get a remedy for this depression.

I am also in talks with social media in UK to publish my story...this should be an eye opener for many Asians who pursue British qualifications hoping that would help them in their careers and finish off paying a huge sum of money only to realize in the end that their money goes to drain.
