I have been to this branch 2-3 times now and it's so unfortunate that the sales people at this branch always have a below par attitude. They are always rude and as if they are doing someone a favour. When I visited today, one of the men from their team attended to me. He mentioned they were out of small boxes to put the dates in, so I asked them for alternatives, upon which he said either a large box or a Ziploc bag. Initially I agreed with the Ziploc bag option but the lady filling the bag just started throwing the dates in, causing the nuts filling to fall out. I stopped her early on and requested that it might be better for her to put it in the big box instead. She made a face, but agreed. When I had got the box filled (25% was left empty as I had only needed enough for the small box), she made faces again and said I MUST fill the box. I told her the man attending earlier said I could get this box option. She confirmed with him (he said yes) and then gave me a lecture about how this isn't okay. At this point, I didn't even want the dates anymore.
I've been to the festival center branch and had them be so much more friendly and caring towards their customers. And a lot more delicate with the product they are selling (instead of just throwing it in bags)
Sad to see Daimas brand name go downhill because of poor behaviour that has nothing to do with the actual quality of product.

The thieves!!! They deceive customers by exchanging date candies for packs of wafer candies, misleading customers. You buy cheap candies for a high price. You will be punished by God!!

Be aware of fraud , they will give you different date to taste and will pack for you different type of date. I asked for Khudri they packed some other stuff and gave me in closed box.
I would advice to bargain or go to 3 to 4 store then purchase or best to go to NRTC big store in same market available, they give more cheaper then all and better quality.

The owners are so friendly and very helpful. Everything fresh and the variety is amazing. Just finished the dates we bought 6 months ago and are back to buy some more. Honestly the fruit here,compared to back home is unbelievable, If you get the chance to visit while in Abu Dhabi, Please do it
The best place to buy dates from it and staff are so generous and friendly (Especially Mr. Geshant ) also they give discounts and provide you with dates & Arabic coffee to taste when you visited them.

Disappointed very bad service ,
We stopped at the market and ended up picking up some dates, dried fruit and nuts. It's several shops with similar product and room to negotiate on price.
I am a regular buyer from this shop. Whenever I go to India, I buy sagai dates and dates pickle from them in bulk. Good packaging for dates in half kg available with them. Cheers to the Supportive staff.

Possibly the most popular shop for buying dates in this area. The other stores nearby are great as well but we followed the crowds to this one and we weren't disappointed. The people in the store are quite friendly too although you should remember to bargain for anything to buy. We got to try out several types of dates because we were looking for something special and the people in the store were more than glad in letting us try out the different products. We managed to find something that we liked and ended up driving the price down to 2/3rd of what was mentioned although I'm sure we could've gone even lower if we would've bought more. Given the wide variety of dates available and the friendly service at the store, I would definitely recommend this place.

I stumbled upon this store by accident while I was wandering around the Town Centre Jumeira. The man working behind the counter, Mr. Khaled, was kind enough to offer me some of their nuts covered in chocolate, and after trying them, I fell in love with the shop's offerings. 😍 Since that time, I've been purchasing chocolate treats and dates from them as gifts. If you have a Prevelige Plus discount card, which can be used in Mercato and Town Centre, you are eligible for a discount from them. It is highly recommended that you go to this store. 🍫💯%

Be cautious and bargain really hard because prices displayed is far above the actual. Visited in May 2022, the price displayed for Majdhool VIP & Ajwa VIP = 120 AED/kg while the other shop can offer the same quality at 40 AED/kg.
This store is too expensive.

A very good place to purchase dates, nuts, dry fruits, chocolates dipped dates etc... Staffs were so helpful on explaining all items.And they are soo friendly to the customer.

After leaving Bateel with a horrible service experience, we decided to checked out Daima, and the hospitality and beautiful service was amazing. Khaled was a great guide who introduced throughly their products while we were drooling over the beautiful selection of dates. We ended up buying a mouth-watering assortment of dates and chocolates and having tasted their products, i could confidently say, that this the place to go to without hesitation when you are looking for sweet or savory selections.

They have so many variety of honey and other roasted items and dehydrated fruits and veggies. Recommended store to shop if visiting Dubai Mall. Collection of honey is very attractive and very tasty. Ginger honey is a must try and very strong one. Liked it very much. They have good quality saffron and tea too. Appreciate the team behind Daima. 👍

The location link and the mobile number is not related to this shop at all!!!! And the number here is for a grocery store in sky gardens, the staff in that shop doesn’t understand English!!! When u asked them anything, they just keep on saying yes, yes , yes ....
