Best Pancake restaurants in United Arab Emirates

My first time trying Eggspectation in Dubai and one word sum it up for me: delicious!

We visited with close friends today and the overall experience was very pleasant.

The cafe has a great ambience to it and looks onto the JBR beach, so location is fantastic and within close proximity to another of amenities.

The food quality, portion sizes and taste was excellent. We opted for the eggs Benedict brunches, club sandwiches alongside some fries, potato’s chips and other appetisers and drinks. Everything tasted really fresh. The price-to-quality ratio was good. The portion sizes were last. Staff were really friendly and accommodated all of our needs with the best customer service.

Highly recommend. Will definitely look to visit again!

My brother who visited Dubai twice before recommended this place and it was really good. They have lunch and dinner options in addition to tons of breakfast and brunch. I had a veggie omelette which was so tasty, I like the way you can customise it a bit like requesting a low fat option which is one yolk and three whites instead of three whole eggs, and sub fries for fruit etc. although additional charges for these. We went for dinner so hardly anyone there but I think mid afternoons for brunch would be a more popular time. They are open until midnight though. Prices are ok, fairly reasonable when compared to a lot of places around Marina, service was great, friendly staff, and amazing omelettes with generous portions.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Food was really tasty, it’s amazing how creative you can get with eggs. Many other items on the menu as well. Managed to snag a great table on the outdoor terrace, the place filled up really quickly though. If you park in the underground beach car park, they’ll validate your parking if your bill exceeds AED 100, so you can park for up to 3 hours free.

Sunday Funday at Eggspectation JBR

Started my Sunday off right with a freshly squeezed grapefruit juice at Eggspectation JBR. The perfect way to set the mood for a productive day ahead!

For breakfast, I had coffee, fresh juice, and strawberry lemonade. For my main course, I chose the Southwest Sunrise, a delicious omelet with chorizo, salsa, and avocado. Mr. had the cheddar omelet and shakshuka, and we both loved our meals.

To finish things off, we shared a marshmallow Nutella French toast and a small pancake. Both were delicious, but the French toast was definitely the star of the show.

I highly recommend Eggspectation JBR for a delicious and satisfying breakfast. The service was also excellent, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the views are spectacular.

Great spot for breakfast/brunch! Quality food and brilliant service. Pretty happy with my experience here, during my week long holiday I visited twice! Egg benny was really good, plenty of hollandaise and fresh tasty salmon with a fresh orange juice is a must! I'd recommend the choc coffee drink too! Can't remember what it's called but it's soo good (see pic) Enjoy!!

Lovely spot. Smoothies were good and hit the spot. But we were here for the eggs benedicts only. We ordered the Classic and the Bravocado. The ham on the classic had a strong flavour. However it seems they skimped on serving enough hollandaise or their hollandaise does not hold much flavour. The Bravocado on the other hand was a really nice surprise. Served on half an avocado and with Parmesan and a savoury tomato sauce, it was unexpected infact better than the classic.

We have visited this location for the first time and Abdullah made our experience unique. The food is super fresh and without delays. The perfect place for all day breakfast.

It was an excellent experience. They served us very delicious food, with good portions. Yousef (the manager) and Ryan did an amazing job. They made us feel welcome. We will absolutely come back again.

A peaceful morning and light breakfast at Eggspectation. The location is very nice and beautiful city view 😊 The café and Belgian waffles were delicious also. 😊🧇☕ a great spot to start the day 🌞

Food: Not bad at all, but, could have done better. Their location and theme, and the name, poses as a breakfast specialist, but you open the menu, the breakfast section is at the last. And no varieties of coffee either. I always thought eggs synonyms with breakfast.

Service: Very good service, they accommodated us 20 people with no fuss.

Ambience: On the roadside, very well lit. Outdoor seating available.

Prices: High. Obviously it’s on city walk. What else do you expect ?

Good to have an Eggspectation this side of town! Great food but service and atmosphere not as good as the branch at JBR but still better than most breakfast joints. Seems kind of crammed inside too.

Good food ! However the sweet food served is not as good as the savoury. Love the potato side it’s my favourite. Service is great and allowed for easy alterations to the dishes which I really appreciated.

This place is tiny and gets crowded easily during peak hours, hence the noise is abit annoying if youre trying to have a conversation. We had the seafood tagliatelle and bravocado. I find the potatoes abit too much and does not pair well with the avocado & eggs. That's about it. The pasta was good tho! For the drinks we had acai super and tropical paradise both were fresh and good.

Enjoyed breakfast with family. The food and ambiance was good, their service is excellent.
The pancakes had good texture but felt a little bit dry. Egg benny with salmon was also above average - not enough hollandaise, had to ask for more. Omelettes, shakshouka, tacos and fried chicken waffles were very good.
They have a rich menu and will definitely visit again to try other dishes.
The location and the view are great. They have good outdoor seating with a view of the beach.

Eggspectation the Montreal based chain is always a treat. It was really nice to be able to enjoy a little piece of Canadiana in Dubai. As the name implies breakfast and brunch has been the main attraction since its inception, but lunch and dinner options now colonize its menu.

We shared the Montreal Smoked Meat Poutine and you should too. I typically prefer some skin on my chips but these french fries were done beautifully and the savory gravy was light with perfectly melted cheese curd and a balanced portion of Montreal smoked meat.

My wife explored the Breakfast Migas, scrambled eggs on a flour tortilla that was helped tremendously by a dollop of hot sauce. Her sister enjoyed the Eggspectation Bagel which arrived first making my wife and I envious of her choice. My Goat Cheese Salad was beautifully light and fresh with a generous serving of goat cheese though I might have preferred a little more cherry tomato.

The staff were wonderful and our beautiful server Asma was thrilled to keep our baby boy entertained while the restaurant wasn’t busy. Service was prompt and the food was on point. With a few coffees and a diet coke we spent 75 aed per person.

No nonsense or theatrics, the place was overall good value and we left happy and satisfied. Hopefully we get another chance to explore the menu further. One of the few places in the city walk area open before 10:00am. If you're an early riser this is the spot.
