Best Swimming lakes in United Arab Emirates

To built a dam you should have water. This is absolutely dry. Not a single stop if water as in December 2021. There is almost a 2 km off-road driving. Difficult drive. Four wheel car recommended. But you can just enjoy drive. At the end there is nothing. Dry lake. Not worth to drive this much. Google map is correct but once you reach near the lake no mobile signal. No toilet. Nothing so if you are stuck only rescue team will help.

Easy access by car. Of course, 4WD is Recommended. Anyone knows when we can see full of water at this dam? By the way, mountain view is great. You feel small adventure here.

The beauty of mountain and best camping spot. The water wasn't there when we went. We did camping at night with a beautiful full moon and had a beautiful sunrise in the morning. Really nice to spend a weekend.

The place is currently dry as the raining season has not started yet. Last 1 km stretch of drive is off road but when you arrive to the destination, its beautiful. Surrounded by mountains, the place offers natural beauty of UAE. The place is extremely quite and peaceful. A good picnic spot. We parked our car and went for stroll and spread the mat and had our lovely meal. Its advisable to leave the place before sunset as it gets extremely dark and hardly any vehicle after that. We will definitely visit the place again. No restrooms or shops are available on the destination. Good spot for amateur trekking. The place is not suitable for very young children due to hard surface.

Beautiful place waiting for rain

Beautiful wadi in fujairah khorfakkan. Must visit dam water depends on weather and seasons. JUN-JULY-AUG 2020 when i visited there was less water in Dam but in winter you will find dam with full of water. Any car can go there.

I was actually expecting a lot of water from this area when we planned to go there. When we arrived at the place, there was so little water, its like a small puddle, but since it was summer time (mid July) when we went there, maybe thats why there's no water. Nonetheless, for me the view is spectacular, its something you dont see a lot everyday. Sedan type cars can go up the dam but you may suffer a few bumps and scratches as it is a dirt road, there are big rocks and uneven terrain. I would recommend you go there on an SUV.

Best spot for camping. Both SUV n Sedan can reach this spot. Cam n peaceful not that much crowd

There are two ends of dams, one which you can camp n other is good for sight seeing( you can see zikt dam board here).

If you not planning over night stay, better you have to leave before sun light getting dim. May be you might confused with multiple road.
