Significant buildings all around and in different tuff (stone) colours

Lots of photos opportunities and a must visit for architecture lovers or just soaking in the sun and watching cars and people pass by
I had the most enchanting experience at Republic Square Armenia. The stunning architecture and vibrant atmosphere truly captivated me. From savoring delicious local cuisine at nearby cafes to witnessing the mesmerizing dancing fountains, this place is a gem that combines culture, history, and modernity in a perfect blend. A must-visit destination that left me in awe!

The dazzling lights and mesmerizing water display are a sight to behold. It's a great way to spend an evening with friends or family, and the good vibes are infectious. I highly recommend it!
This is a happening place especially in the evenings. In the evenings people gather around the fountains enjoying the bustling atmosphere. There are Restaurants and Ice Cream shops along the side streets. The buildings are lit at night and look wonderful. There a few benches available to sit or you can sit by the fountains. Taxis are available along the main roads.

Beautiful square. Keep your bag close and be mindful of people standing near you especially when crowded at night. Be smart and you’ll be ok.
Check out the night show.

Main square in the center of the city and one of the main attractions of Yerevan. The large square includes a large fointain and is surrounded by beautiful old buildings. The square has a historical importance to the local and most national events are celebrated in this square.
Beautiful city, clean and very accommodating people. One of the best and very historical place I've ever been.

Amazing place especially before sunset and later around 9pm when the fountain show starts.
Weather in June- July was amazing.
A lot of coffee shops, restaurants and street food also available in the area.

The field is a very beautiful place, and its sunsets have a captivating waterfall dance. I wish that only the traffic, especially car parking, could be limited in this beautiful location, which, in my opinion, has diminished the beauty of the field significantly.

When I visited Yerevan, I stopped by Republic Square, and I'm so glad I did. This place is like the living room of the city – a great place to hang out, meet people, or just sit and relax.

The buildings are really pretty, with some cool patterns on the floor and everything around. In the evening, there's this fantastic show with water dancing to music. It's a real treat and a great spot for photos.

For anyone visiting Yerevan, you've gotta check this place out – it's the heart of the city!

A great place to stroll on a breezy afternoon, but the square looks so much more beautiful and picturesque at night with all the building lights on and the fountain dancing to some music. The square is surrounded by various restaurants and food stalls at reasonable prices so there’s no shortage of options if you go hungry. A must-visit when in Yerevan!

Good place, close to Cascade, and theater. Around there is a lot of coffee shops and parks for kids.
Kind of in the middle of nowhere and out of the way, but an amazing historical monetary and tomb. You can go down into the tomb itself, which is pretty cool.

IT IS JUST A POINT. NOTHING SPECIAL HERE , JUST A OPEN PLACE TO CROSS WITH PLEASANT STATUES OF OLD LORDS AND ARISTOTLE'S
Ведутся раскопки,но идите вдоль забора на лево,через развалины древнего храма,спуститесь по лестнице и вход в мавзолей,зайдите в мавзолей.Не забудьте попить воды из фонтанчика,самая вкусная,самая холодная.
Beautiful
Impressive monument!
Հուշարձան Երկրորդ աշխարհամարտում զոհված քանաքեռցիներին։ Կառուցվել է 1971 թվականին։ Ճարտարապետ.` Լ. Չերքեզյան։ Տուֆակերտ է։
Very small and very ruined, but very historical place. Could be a nice stop on the way to Tegher monastery and Amberd

I'm rating it 5 stars not only because this square is named after my country but also because it's a good place for hanging out and for taking a look at the many paintings that can be found in the little park.
Really nice people

Yerevan is quite an interesting city (as well as Armenia as a country) and in many places are statues of world knows armenians. Here in France Square we have a statue of Charles Aznavour, an armenian born in France. Place is really pretty and fountain is a welcome sight in hot Yerevan summers. Just behind is big Moskva cinema, its architecture remind me of some Moscow underground stations.
Nice to find such places.

This is not really a real square you could walk into or something. There's traffic everywhere with a Rodin statue located in the middle of the big crossroads to give it a feel of a square:] but it's practically impossible to walk to the statue either because of all the cars around. So all you can do is observe it from a distance or look like a moron running through traffic to go see a statue

There are lots of people crowding at night. It's a nice atmosphere cafe and you can enjoy day and night. It is a popular spot for locals. There is also a children's playground so you can enjoy it with your family.
