DO NOT GO HERE!! Frustrated enough to leave a second review. Scammed us of 12,000 pesos then accused us of not knowing how to count our money. Horrible food and horrible people.
They scammed us out of 12,000 pesos, the food was bad, the service was bad, and they threatened us when we resisted paying the extra money. Not safe for tourists and not worth it regardless.
The service was a bit slow and the food came out in stages. Two of us being finished with our meals before the third meal came out. Not pictured were the raviolis (chicken and cheese) which lacked any flavor. The shining star was the lasagna for sure. It was the best I’ve had in a long time here. I would ask for just fileto sauce next time tough. Empanadas were very good. Overall a nice experience. Just a bit slow.
During my vacation there, I went in on a weekday w my family. None of the staff spoke any English, which was fine as we managed to order an iron plate of mixed BBQ pork, beef ribs, as well as a pasta for my daughter. The food was far from delicious. The meat was either overcooked or too hard to chew because of the non-lean meat stuff. The decoration was a bit out of touch. When my wife asked for another dipping sauce, the waiter replied with a firm "solo", and waved his finger at us, which I assumed was a NO.

I didn't give 1 star simply because of the language barrier which might have caused some misunderstanding. Otherwise, avoid it if you read this.
Very good location, the attention of the people was excellent but the portions of pasta at least were very scarce
It was the first gentlemen's club in all of Latin America (since 1850) and that is more than enough reason to visit this historic place. The food is very delicious and the patio is spacious and shaded. As for the attention of the waiters I must say that it is the best there is in the city. They are very friendly and professional. In my opinion it would be necessary to make some repairs so that the place recovers its brightness. There are sectors that need some paint and cleaning on the ceilings.
The low cost on the ground floor is a nice hidden corner inside an old art nouveau building. Perfect for getting a refreshing cerveza. Food was ok. Friendly staff and cosy environment.
The place is beautiful, but the menu is very limited and they only accept money, Visa and Maestro as payment methods.
Amex and Master Card credit were not accepeted
