El 30/4 fui a comer con amigas ,hacemos el pedido y pasaron más de 50’ q nunca nos entregaron el pedido ,me acerco hago el reclamo no aparecía la comanda ,luego me dan dos porciones de rabas frías a las cual le digo esto está frío no se puede comer me puso a freír de nuevo y se achicharraron y las empanaditas tmb la calentó en el microondas,imposible fue comer y el chico c malos modos me dio las cosas .Y no tenía ni limon para las rabas ,desastre !!
"Las apariencias engañan" dice la popular frase, acá aplica totalmente. Estéticamente los rolls se veían inmejorables, pero estaban muy lejos de eso 🍣.
Elegimos los "veggies", de los cuáles sólo convenció el de "tomate con ciboulette". Mientras que los rolls "citric" y "wasabi" eran muy olvidables.
La atención antipática 🗣, que alguien les implique a las cajeras que para la atención al público hay que tener carisma y buena onda.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant. The gyoza were particularly delicious. The service was prompt to take our orders and to bring our appetizers and drinks. I will say we waited far too long for the main dishes to arrive. The food was overall quite delicious. I found the restaurant to be relatively pricey, however, this was our first Japanese restaurant experience in Buenos Aires. The service was beyond friendly and courteous.

Feeling very mixed about this place. Service was good. Limonada is delicious. Atmosphere is also really nice. However, the sushi itself leaves a lot to be desired. They are aggressive with the use of cream cheese and the sushi just just isn’t tasty.

The service and atmosphere is nice but the food just isn’t great. It’s sushi but the flavor and texture wasn’t all there. Didn’t finish our food… it felt kinda like just eating rice and cream cheese
Amazing little Japanese restaurant tucked away that we stumbled upon while trying to make up our minds on what to eat. It was right by our hotel. It had very little advertising and was basically invisible from the street. Walking in, the place is absolutely beautiful and filled with Japanese decor. There was live music (we went on a Saturday night) which was lovely. Food was the best we’ve had in Buenos Aires which is saying a lot! I got the salmon sushi and my partner had the California roll. We split an amazingly good shrimp fried rice which was enormous and took the rest back with us for leftovers—great the next day too! Highly recommend and wish we were staying longer to go again. Service was great and food came out quickly.

Pésimo servicio, me acerco a las cajas, luego de ver la cartelera para hacer el pedido, y la chica de caja me dice que vuelva en 15 minutos porque están haciendo el cambio de turno de la caja. El pedido nunca llegó y no atiende nadie. Tampoco te cancelan el pedido como para que analices otras opciones. No puedo creer como el dueño de un lugar deja llegar a su local a 1,7 estrellas en google. Eso demuestra que ni a ellos ni a sus empleados les importa. Most overpriced lack of value ever paid for Japanese food. Had miso soup, rice, shared a tofu, karage chicken, and yakitori chicken. Shared a beer and it was 91000 pesos. Across the street at la Puerto rico our meal cost 15000 total and was 💯 times the quality and value. Avoid at all costs.
The food was really great, but you have to like ginger. I also recommend the cold tea and the red berry drink. There is a real temple but it’s really small and doesn’t make that much of a difference. The himms playing were really calming and the atmosphere was very good. Super recommend.
Everything seems to have cheese and is quite sweet. This isn’t the type of sushi we’re used to but we’re from Australia. A warning that it may not be suitable for other tourists who are used to more savoury flavours.

Le pongo 2 estrellas y no una porque llegó bastante rápido, pero aunque sea barato no vale la pena. Hay otras sucursales de Che Sushi que hacen piezas más dignas.

Best nigiris so far in argentina. So fresh. And wonderful service. Highly recommend. Order the trout (trucha) with flame nigiri.
I've been here several times! Every time it's been good. The grilled salmon over rice was super tasty with clean flavors and very healthy. Another occasion the Hana #1 which included sashimi and 2 kinds of rolls plus 3 nigiris. Also got the katsu don which was super tasty. This is a take-out only place. High quality, with reasonable prices considering the quality. I definitely recommend it!
Stumbled across this place on google and couldn’t believe the 4.9 reviews but yes! It absolutely live up to the rating. Small, intimate, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Chocho, the owner, made fresh sushi in front of us and personally explained each dish. We got 4 course tasting menu and it was fresh, well portioned and muy rico (as the locals would say). We’ve told all our friends about it in BA but thought we’d have to add to the positive reviews because Chocho and his team deserve to be commended for a fantastic experience.
Son un desastre. Hice un pedido y me decía que llegaba entre 2315 y 2346. Nunca llego. Eran la 1 de la mañana y seguíamos esperando. 23 horas después me mandan un mail de cancelación del pedido. Trato de comunicarme con la sucursal y no tienen número. Trato de comunicarme con pedidosya y no atiende nadie. A estas empresas deberían cerrarle el local inmediatamente. Se caigan en todo y sobre todo en los consumidores. Jamás pidan a este lugar. Son desastrosos.

Just a delightful experience with wonderful, fresh, and creatively-prepared dishes. The Omakase Experience was an incredible value and offered a new and exciting take on nigiri and sashimi. The chef/owners were both a pleasure to chat with, and were very accommodating for our kids.

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful food and beautiful staff. We got recommended to come here by a friend who told us it is the best Sushi in Buenos Aires. The food was so well presented and Gaby and the staff made you feel so welcome. We ended up chatting to strangers next to us over drinks which added to the atmosphere.

La calidad bajo mucho , aún así seguí comprando , pero la persona que atiende el WhatsApp de sushi station brinda muy mal servicio, le da mal las direcciones a los deliverys retrasando las entregas y pretende culpar a los clientes , así ya no se puede.
El sushi está bueno y las piezas son grandes. Lo único es que estaban en Av Cordoba (sede recoleta) el local era muy lindo y se veía siempre muy limpio y ahora se mudaron a la calle Tucumán se ve que cambiaron la firma, y el otro día fui a retirar el pedido por el local nuevo y sinceramente no me gusto nada, me dio un poco de cosa en cuanto a la estética e higiene, ojalá puedan mejorarlo porque el sushi en si es rico!

Flavor-wise, the dishes were overwhelmingly salty, lacking the delicate umami flavors you'd typically find in Asian cuisine.
I ordered the Pad Thai, hoping for that perfect blend of sweet, sour, and savory flavors, but all I got was an overly salty dish that tasted more like soy sauce stir-fried noodles. It was so salty, it must have affected my health.
Next, I tried the stir-fried pork, which turned out to be the best of the four dishes I ordered, but even that was just average. The rice accompanying it was far from satisfying, and there were even worse aspects to come.
My hopes were high for the Sushi Tokyo, expecting a classic and authentic sushi experience. However, what arrived at my house was far from it. The sushi had strange fruit sauces that clashed with the traditional flavors, leaving me disappointed and craving something more genuine.
But the real low point was the Poke bowl. It came in a tiny portion compared to the other dishes, and the fish didn't seem very fresh. To make matters worse, it was drenched in a passion fruit sauce that did not complement the dish at all. It had the potential to be good, but it turned out to be a disaster.
I'm usually very open in trying new foods, but this was just unacceptable.
Overall, I cannot recommend anyone to dine at this restaurant, especially if you're visiting Argentina. It's not only a waste of money, but you could easily find a better and more authentic meal elsewhere in the area. Save yourself the disappointment and explore other dining options.

It's a nice sushi place. The sushi was bigger than I'm used to eat, the flavour was good too. I also drank some green tea. It was a good experience, it just felt a little too expensive compared to the other places with similar quality. 4 rolls are around 3000$/4000$. I ended up spending 11.000$ eating alone and I still left a little hungry...

Mucha demora. Mas de media hora esperando el pedido. Quien cocina tiene otras tareas ademas y deja los mariscos en la plancha cocinandose a tal punto que se le pegan. Desde ya que los sirve igual. Demasiado caro por la calidad del sushi y las piezas chiquitas. Fui varias veces y la mayoría quede desconforme. Decidi no volver.

Una vergüenza que sirvan tan mal. El mejillón sucio (con alga y un pedazo de valva) y el calamar con la espina. Y eso que el plato era puro arroz, traía 2 pedacitos chiquitos de cada marisco.

If you are looking for fancy, authentic Japanese sushi, this is likely not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you want to eat lots of sushi at a very reasonable price, with a reasonable amount of (good quality) fish and prawns and experiment with a few creative combinations, you'll love this place! They offer really big sets of 40 sushi pieces with various options (all salmon, all prawns, salmon and prawn, all cold, cold and hot and so on) for very reasonable price and more than enough for two people. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming, kind of kitsch-anime, but the chairs are comfortable and the music soft. Service is efficient, but could definitely be friendlier and more attentive. They also offer business lunch during the week, but the price of two business lunches is not far off from that of a huge 40-piece sushi set.

La sushi salad es un espanto. El queso que usan es como un Tholem berreta que no tiene nada que ver con el salmón crudo, el arroz. El arroz cero sabor, el pescado con espinas, con partes duras, con cachos de piel y escamas. La palta me vino llena de pedacitos duros. Muy malo. $3600 por eso, nunca más en mi vida. No compren.
It was great to finally eat some beautiful Japanese food. We were just about to give up on trying anymore Japanese restaurants in BA and thank goodness we didn’t. Service was great and the ambience embraced the homage japan. We had the day of the week specials and really enjoyed all plates we ate from.

Te bombardean con promociones todo el tiempo (como si eso funcionara para tener ganas de comprar un sushi chotisimo) y cuando les pedis por favor que te saquen de la lista de difusión, no lo hacen. My husband and I came to Chocho with another couple for dinner during a short stay in Buenos Aires. The modern industrial aesthetic of the restaurant is clean and streamline yet warm and welcoming. The quality of fish was excellent, the wine selection was very nicely curated, and the owner and chef Sebastian was very welcoming and personable. They made accommodations for my husband who is gluten free. We have experienced omakase in many cities throughout the US, and Chocho does not disappoint!

A la hora que figuraba en la app. A esa misma hora fue entregado el pedido.
La cuestión es que el local entrega mediante sus propios repartidores. No me figuraba que el repartidor ya había salido, sino que constantemente con el aviso de que estaban preparando el pedido. Y el repartidor ya me lo había entregado. Por eso, quizás hay muchos comentarios negativos al respecto.
Me llegó tal cual como se ve en las fotos. Presentable. Pero, sobre todo super fresco. El arroz con el punto y sabor justo.
Excepto, las empanaditas les faltaba crocancia.

Una porquería. Te dicen que usan Philadelphia y al final te meten un queso que con sabor asqueroso que no se parece en nada (todo arenoso con sabor a yogurt o por ahí estaba en mal estado ) . Ni hablar del arroz, durísimo. La verdad, el peor sushi

Não é o tipo de sushi que a gente come no Brasil mas eu entendo que cada país agrega características aos pratos e tá tudo bem. Gostei bastante do sushi, achei farto de salmão e tudo muito fresco. Pediria novamente.
Paupérrima atención. La calidad de la comida dejaba que desear. Toda la ensalada en su totalidad estaba caliente, el queso estaba en mal estado, me vino sin las salsas que pedí (y que se cobraban extras), intenté llamar y el teléfono que ponen en la página no existe. Me quedé sin comer y nunca me devolvieron el dinero. Horrible. 0/10.

Good food with a wonderful host who makes the food in front of you as well as providing the service and conversation. Pricey for 13,400 pesos for the two of us (drinking coke) and compared with several other places in the area which are speedier and offering more choice it’s fair to say we won’t be returning quickly! But an enjoyable evening nonetheless.
I rarely leave reviews, but in this case I had to. They used way too much cream cheese in their rolls, plus I am dealing with food poisoning as we speak. You would be wise to avoid this place, don’t let the high rating fool you like it did me.

Yo pedía cuando se llamaba Be sushi y las piezas eran grandes y riquísimas. Que sorpresa me lleve al que no solo eran ínfimas y no bajaron su precio, si no que de mala calidad!! Salmón en pésimo estado (OJO CON ESTO!), el arroz estaba pasado porque todos los rolls estaban pegajosos y engomados. Por favor, no falten el respeto a los clientes. Si van a trabajar así, ajusten sus valores de precio.

Espectacular, viene con varias salsas .lo retiras o te lo entregan a domicilio. Y tienen siempre promociones de entre el 40 % o actuamente el 50 %. De descuento en los combos. Buena presentaciòn. Atenciòn ràpida. Muy recomendable!!!
The most ordinary and bland sushi I've had from a sushi restaurant. It's like the sushi you get at a mediocre grocery store. The soy sauce was watered down. Luckily I had my own (kikkoman) in the fridge. I avoided ordering any sushi with philadelphia cream cheese. I don't know why all of latin america loves cream cheese in their sushi. It belongs in some rolls but not 90% of them. I knew not to expect much from sushi in CABA but we were really craving some. My search continues for better sushi in this city.
fast delivery, great presentation. My newyorker husband says best langostinos he's ever had here. 16US or 5000 pesos for 50 rolls. great deal. will be ordering again

I don’t think many people who left 5 star ratings have had real sushi before… the rolls were badly in need of some cucumber or bell pepper to add some contrast in texture. The wasabi tasted like weak horseradish. The service was friendly enough.

got the pork ramen in smallest size for takeout which was super good. you have to heat up at home and assemble yourself but they give easy instructions and takes 5 minutes - definitely better than letting it go cold! was a good price (1350 pesos) and definitely worth it. restaurant also looks so sweet and would of been nice to dine in too!
Ordered take out, only waited a short time before our food was ready. The food was nicely packaged, good quality and so tasty that we went back the same night for seconds😋

The fish seemed to be of good quality actually, but the execution was terrible imo.
The salmon nigiri were cut in a rustic manner (meaning thick and with squared edges) which wouldn’t have been a big deal if it weren’t for the rice beneath it being overcooked and with too much rice vinegar (tasted distinctly sweet and sour).
The rolls were filled with chunky bits of salmon, not necessarily a bad thing, some avocado (I think? Did not really get any taste of them) and way too much cottage cheese!! I’m unsure if I think cottage cheese belongs in sushi at all but this amount was extreme.
As for sides? There were no pickled slices of ginger, or any ”wasabi”, wakame or any other japanese side that usually goes with sushi either. I got regular lettuce?!? Perhaps it would have been nice if prepared in some special way (although unlikely), it was just chopped lettuce thrown right into the box.
Perhaps I was unlucky with this one - seeing that it has a lot of good reviews but I don’t think so unfortunately, it actually seems more like they haven’t done enough research on what sushi is about judgeing by the pictures. It also seems like there has been a lot of people who have little to no other experince with sushi who have praised this.

I ordered from here about 5 times total. Always fresh and always delicious nigiris and sashimi. Even when delivered it was perfect. They don’t have Kikoman soy sauce, but the soy they send is a close second... great sushi and super friendly service on the phone. They even remembered my name (maybe I ordered too much 😂). I’ve been to Japan and I must say the way they prepare the nigiris is very authentic.

Punto para destacar la velocidad con la que enviaron mi pedido. No tardo más de 40min en llegar a mi casa por rapi (jueves).
Pedi empanadas de carne y de verdura y un combo mediterráneo x30.
Las empanadas muy ricas ambas.
El sushi fresco y muy rico también. Lo unico que no me agrado es que algunas piezas son finitas, se puede apreciar en una foto. Y algunas tienen bastante arroz. Pero por el precio la verdad estoy conforme. Gracias

Great little sushi place in Buenos Aires. Although there wasn’t much variety of fish, (mainly salmon as most of the sushi spots in the city) I could tell ingredients were fresh and rice was well cooked and seasoned. I personally enjoyed the thick cut sashimi here. We also had the ebi furai which was pretty tasty as well! Service was good, the lady who served us was polite but i felt she was a little dry i’m not gonna lie haha😂 . Nevertheless, this place is worth a try!

Great sushi, my favorite of Buenos Aires, with a cozy atmosphere that makes me think of Japan without trying to be excessively authentic. I have been over a dozen times and the quality is consistent, and I suggest calling ahead of time for reservation to avoid waiting for a table.
