The ferry service at Elizabeth Quay is great and comfortable, offering trips to multiple locations. There are many different ticket options available, all at very reasonable prices. It’s an excellent way to get around!

Ah, the Ferry Elizabeth Quay, a gateway to exploration and a vessel that transports you across the picturesque waters of Perth, Western Australia. As I stepped aboard this nautical marvel, I couldn't help but feel a sense of adventure stirring within me.

The ferry, with its sleek and elegant design, gracefully cuts through the shimmering waters of the Swan River, offering a front-row seat to the breathtaking beauty that surrounds it. The panoramic views that unfold before your eyes are a visual feast, a tapestry of urban splendor and natural wonders that blend seamlessly together.

As the ferry glides along the river, the cityscape of Perth reveals itself in all its glory. The iconic skyline, punctuated by towering skyscrapers and modern architectural marvels, stands as a testament to the city's vibrant spirit and forward-thinking nature. It's a sight that fills you with a sense of awe, as you witness the harmonious coexistence of human ingenuity and the majesty of the natural world.

But it is not just the urban landscape that captivates aboard the Ferry Elizabeth Quay. The river itself, a lifeline that runs through the heart of the city, offers a tranquil respite from the bustling streets. The gentle sway of the ferry and the soothing rhythm of the water create a sense of serenity, as if time slows down and allows you to immerse yourself in the moment.

The ferry's journey takes you to various destinations along the river, each offering its own unique charm and attractions. From the cultural hub of South Perth to the lush beauty of Kings Park, there are endless possibilities for exploration and discovery. The ferry becomes a conduit to new experiences, a gateway to untapped wonders that lie just beyond the horizon.

But perhaps the most enchanting aspect of the Ferry Elizabeth Quay is the sense of community it fosters. Passengers from all walks of life come together, sharing stories, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie. It's a microcosm of the vibrant tapestry that makes up the fabric of Perth, where strangers become friends and the boundaries that separate us fade away.

The Ferry Elizabeth Quay is not merely a means of transportation; it is an experience in itself. It connects you to the heart and soul of the city, offering a glimpse into its rich tapestry of culture, natural beauty, and the warmth of its people. So, step aboard, let the gentle breeze caress your face, and embark on a journey that will leave an indelible mark on your spirit. The Ferry Elizabeth Quay is more than a vessel; it is a vessel of dreams, a conduit to new horizons, and a reminder that the true essence of travel lies not just in the destination, but in the journey itself.
good fishing points
The ferry operators are great. Two ferries cope well with traffic, except on public holiday weekends.
1 of my most favourite places, absolute beauty & the cutest happiest animals on the planet. Everywhere u look is stunning
Beautiful island, water is as blue or bluer than Bondi. The quokkas are cute.

Returning from the ZOO located at South Perth City and walking down the Mends Street to the Jetty and taking one of the ferry boots across the Swan River towards the Elizabeth Quay you might see this beautiful skyline of the Perth Central Business District (CBD).
Nice place to visit!
It gets busy, but i love the excitement of that

Probably the best-located ferry wharf in Sydney providing an uninterrupted view of Sydney icons including the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and city skyline. Ferries leave from here to Circular Quay and Hunters Hill. Great spot to rest if you’re walking around the harbour foreshore.

One of Sydney's hidden gems, catch the ferry on the way in to enjoy the loop or if you miss it, don't worry, it'll stop in again on it's way back to Circular Quay.
This place is okay, interesting items and some curiousa things too. Very juxtaposed.

Celsius coffee co. A really nice place and food are beautiful and yum. Beautiful view too. Love it a lot.
Easy get on get off ferry service. Free. Quick. Good for cyclists as well. Just take it easy and you are over the other side in a few minutes.
To have a free ferry service to cross the Murray from Mannum is great. Operators are all really friendly and the service is super efficient.
Large wharf with roof covering for protection from the weather. The free CityHopper ferry service stops here.
Another beautiful island to visit for outdoor activities for the whole family. Booked our trip early with the family. It’s a 30 minute ride via ferry. Maps in how to explore the island is readily available at the information centre. Options to take the hop on, hop off bus for a fee. Tickets available at the kiosk near the information office. There are 19 stations to explore. Went to check the Wadjemup lighthouse. Tourist can go up the 155 steps up to the top of the lighthouse. Up to this time, the said lighthouse is still working. Volunteers gives you a guided tour of the lighthouse. From the top you can see the whole island. Restaurants are open to serve the tourists. Random quokkas can be seen in al parts of the island. They also have convenience store. They have nice beaches and cottages. You also had an option to camp, snorkel or just sit near the beach. There’s a church and a nearby museum, too. Worth the trip. Also, you can bike around the island. Bicycles are being rented out to tourists or you can bring your own. A nice place to rest and relax and commune with nature.
從這裏出發去Rottnest島上可以沿途遊覽河景,雖然上島價格不菲,但還是值得一遊。

One of my favourite places in the whole of Western Australia. For such a small island, there is quite a lot you can do here (e.g. cycling, hiking, swimming, diving, picnics, thrill boat rides, sky-diving).

Of course, the highlight would be the Quokkas. Please neither feed them nor touch them though - friendliest animals you might ever meet so please treat them with the respect they thoroughly deserve.
Beautiful tourist destination just off Perth which is home to the native Quokka. A small marsupial unique to this island. Hire a bike or take a bus tour around the island. Bikes need updating but still a great day.

Nice place to relax with family and very cosy area. Good site seeing as well around town and the river Murray. If you want to catch carps this place is highly recommended and you never go home empty handed. Bring your fishing gear and relax along side of the river. Good for strolling around the area and very friendly locals. Plenty of interest around Mannum and only 1 hour drive from Adelaide CBD . Their is also a motel if you decide to stay for a night or two. I would love to live here one day this place is truly a hidden paradise😊
I go to Rottnest twice a year with my family and it’s honestly my favourite place to go! If I had to choose going to New York or something like that or Rottnest then I’ll choose Rottnest.
Really great place and if you go bring or hire a bike!

So cute little island. And so quiet and relaxing. There no much car on it. Really pleasant to ride bicycle all around. Lot of beautiful beaches. And the main thing lot of so friendly quokka everywhere.
I made a mistake while booking my trip to the island and I asked for a refund on the amount as I'm traveling and will not return to wa. They refused to refund my money, and now I'm stuck with a 30 dollar credit I can't use... I believe that's illegal in australian consumer law :(
apart from boat leaving 15 minutes late staff where nice and friendly and counter lady was lovely

Rottnest Express is the largest ferry service provider from Perth to Rottnest Island via Fremantle. I personally love this company for their awesome customer services. Their operation and management is remarkable and the experience during the travel is out of the sky.
I love to travel with them again and again and again :) :) :)
Thank you

One of my favourite quiet spot in Sydney. The most beautiful at sunset with Opera House across the harbour and Sydney Bridge right next to you. On a nice sunny day, the magic moment of the orange sky at sunset is very memorable. There are seats in the park next to the water. Best place for a walk with a friend or on your own with a book. Popular wedding photo spot.
Great atmosphere here, lovely view over the river. Always kept clean and no graffiti that I could see.

Rottnest Island has been by far the best attraction for me near Perth. It can be visited in one day. The ferry may seem a bit expensive, but it is totally worth the price.
You can get discounts by booking online. From Perth, the trip takes an hour. You could leave from Freemantle instead, which may turn out to be cheaper. However, it would present much more hassle and you would miss a tour of the Swan River and a view on the skyline of the city from the river.
If you are young or fit, I would strongly recommend to book the bike whilst booking the ferry: this is the best way to enjoy Rottnest Island. As an alternative, you can get buses on the island. The island is too large to be visited on foot on a day trip.
Snorkelling kit could be advisable in the late spring/ early summer. You can even rent it out from the ferry company.
N.B.: The trip in the Ocean is short (30 minutes). However, due to the strong wind, sometimes it can be quite rough. I had no issues, but I have seen people being sea sick. It could be worth carrying pills if you suffer from it just in case. I would not recommend them on the way out because they can make you sleepy, but definitely on the way back if you need them.
Attached is a picture of Rottnest Island. You can find more info there.
