came right after opening on a Sat night 🌉 - very quiet
place probably gets busy later (~9pm)

✨ great design - food truck kitchen aesthetic 🚛, self serve water sink 💦, spin the wheel cocktail 🍹

⭐ enjoyed the toblerlauren (tasty expeessi martini variant) ☕ and french shintaro 🍾(champagne cocktail)

did not try the food

Great place for a drink or to watch a show..very friendly staff but chairs in show area are not comfortable and to hard to sit on for hours watching and hard to get car park.uneven ground around outside so not good for people with disabilities..

Went for a gig. The bands were good, played into a good sounding room well engineered by Matt. Good atmosphere well assisted by good libations served by hospitable staff.
Check it out to your taste.

Nice event venue, great (very specific) vibe. Apparently you can't hear the speakers very well from the stage though, doesn't really matter if you're just watching :)

Went to Easter Bash today. Very poorly organised. No one at reception, no signage, no coordination. Yet you asked us to sign up for tickets for the event. Advertising said Easter egg hunt all day, egg races and sack races.. not from 2pm. Queried staff who said all the eggs went to quickly come back tomorrow, than said they would send Easter bunny out and never did. Went to get in face paint line but sign saying line was closed by 3pm. Tables were all booked out but many were sitting empty (likely this was outside venues control if people booked). 40 minute drive for an flop of an event.

We went there for a celebration and the bartender who had short blonde hair was really mean to our group for no reason. It sucks because it really made the night a lot less joyful that it was before. I hope the bartender finds happiness and will grow to pass that on instead of being bitter and cruel. I would avoid this bar and go a couple of doors down where the staff are friendly and just nice and it’s cranking because of it ❤️
The Bulimba Golf Club was such a fabulous venue to host my daughter's birthday party. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and made the party run seamlessly. A special shout out to Emily who helped with coordinating the event in the lead up - and also to Karen who was so lovely on the night. I highly recommend the Garden Marquee, it provides a beautiful setting for a party.

I walked past here the other night, and Google wants a review.

Well, it had lights, the building looked in good condition. There were humans inside all grasling small cylinders, which they occasionally touched to their lower face holes.

In all, it was a bit surreal 6/5.

Came in from the museum for the $15 schnitty burger and got a drink to go with it.

Food came out in great speed especially since we ordered after a big group did.
Server was a lovely gentleman, Aussie bloke that was super cheery and made me feel looked after.
Food was absolutely delicious and I've now found my favourite cider (2 brothers little apple cider)

Thank you for the delicious food and experience.
A wonderful place to relax at especially after a day at the museum.

Great little spot. I loved watching some bands play here!

Got a fantastic vibe, and despite the small location, you can still get a mosh going!
It is a unique place with modernity and serenity juxtaposed. It is a long walk for elderly people. Circular Quay metro can take us right to this place.
Worth a visit!

It is a beautiful symbol of a human spirit, imagination, creativity, and ability to overcome challenges. It is a people's place. Come and be part of it.

If you want to go on a tour inside the Opera House, buy tickets online to select the day and time available, and then arrive to the Welcome Center, which is located underground on the left side 15 min ahead of your time.

Also, if you can, come on Saturday and hang around until about 9 PM to see a fireworks 🎆

The Jade is a quaint little theatre Cafe Bar where they often have small gettogethers, fringe shows and is available for hire, we were there for a Tenby9 Talk session, very good, it's on again every month.

Came here for an event. Really good.
Magnificent building. Lots of stairs but walkable. 1 hour tour and learn alot. Scenic photos of the Criuse Ship and The Bridge. Great shop when you depart to buy souvenirs where you can catch taxis.
The place is spectacular. The building itself is a picture of amazing architecture from the outside. It sit on the shore of the Sidney Harbour with the famous Harbour bridge in its shadow. The jewel of this experience was being able to actually listen to a performance inside. This is once in a lifetime opportunity that is worth every effort of a long flight and overcoming jet lag.

I went to the old bar for a charity gig, it was lovely, mainly the staff, the doorman, was way to accomodating and lovely to chat to, the bar staff had a really good aura about them, they were super quick to serve and in the right order too! 👍 The actual setting was sick, the only thing that kinda disappointed me was the bouncer, he was doing a great job at getting people in the bar in a really nice manner earlier on in the night, but he had a big slip up, there was this crazy Agro guy who was being a sleaze bag towards some of my lady friends and just being a general public nuisance, one of my friends told him to shove off because he was making everyone very uncomfortable and he took it very personally, and got out of his car, and we made a quick retreat inside, I was somehow oblivious to all of these events and it left me in a general state of confusion, the issue was that after the guy came up to the bar and was banging on the windows and screaming at us the bouncer let him somewhat inside the bar to interrogate us on what we did to cause this, because turns out he was acquainted with the guy, and while he came in the crazy man followed, I called him brother and he didn’t like that, the result was a good old whack to my face, it left me very rattled and shaken, I just cannot help but feel like the bouncer should have been a bit more responsible and not allowed entry to this super aggressive guy, and as a direct result from the staff members actions I ended up getting physically harmed :( just left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth and a sting in my jaw. But other than that it was awesome, unfortunately I do not think I will be back, despite the awesome atmosphere and the cool staff, it just threw me through a huge loop and kinda ruined the vibes, not sure what to do about this, but I would really appreciate an apology or at lease an acknowledgment that one of their staff made a mistake that kinda freaked me out.
Thanks 🙏 :) sending good vibes to the lovely bar staff of the old bar

Hit up the Trivia Tuesday/burger night. Didn't end up with the burger but the calamari was good, fritters had good taste but looked unappetizing, can't order a kids meal as not a kid unfortunately which I believe is a absolute killer pub move so marked down for that.
Trivia was good but ran Hella long. 3.5hrs on a weekday is late

It had a great atmosphere for the pipes night, however more seating would've been amazing, people were seated on the sticky floors. It was a fabulous night though.

The cola on tap tasted weird

Ordered the Gyros, second time in a month and it was 75% salad...
I get it things are expensive but at least put stove meat in it
Also the saganaki was paper thin...
Time to try other places, I think...

Beautiful building. We took the basic tour. Some of the aspects were gimmicky, but gave you an opportunity to visit the main concert hall and other areas. Check out the free Sydney museum first which has a section about the Opera House. Tickets had a large weight time which is why we saw the museum prior.

This was my first trip to Sydney, and the Opera House is majestic. It's so much better in real life than any picture you will ever see. We did a guided tour and went back the next day to watch a show. We loved both of these and highly recommend that everyone should definitely take the time to go for the tour and check out a show.

There's not many venues left where local bands can learn their chops. The Workers Club is such a place. The band room is a throw back to the good old days of pub rock and it was awesome to get in there and bounce around to some cool indie rock.

An iconic bucket list venue, my first visit. Beautiful harbour views though super crowded around the venue, plan ahead!
We saw Gatsby at the Green Light, interesting dance moves though lacked a story line and turned a little burlesque/odd in the last few scenes 🤔
We recently had my daughter's Birthday here and whilst I've always loved the Worker's Club, having a function here is even better! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and the room was lovely and private too. Highly recommend!
Best New year destination because of various reasons. It's summer and the weather is perfect. The crowd are amazing. No crime in the city and it's kept very clean. The fireworks from cruise is just spectacular. Travel may get a little tricky.

Would highly recommend Bad Decisions for function hire. Have used them 3 times for a work end of year party and they have always delivered! Great value, amazing space upstairs and amazing cocktails. Tina and the team have been excellent - always prompt and professional
Quite a small venue for gigs, second floor doesn't have air conditioning or fans.. seriously hot in humid weather

Pic is of The Patients playing. Great venue for bands. Awesome sound. The sound dampening panels on the walls really work a treat, so the band was what you heard, not the echo. Definitely go there again.

Haimes Homes recently hosted our Christmas Function at Bulimba Golf Club, and we are thrilled with how the event turned out. Emily and the team were incredibly accommodating, ensuring a seamless experience for all. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the 9-hole Par 3 course, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the festivities. The attention to detail and the friendly atmosphere created by the staff contributed to the overall success of our event. Thank you!
Attended a queer event upon arrival didn't seem queer welcoming.Made the mistake of going early for food and listening to heavy rock music in the background. Once the event started the venue did become a safe queer space

Never went inside but my friends and I walked by a few times last night (sat 2nd dec) and the bouncer outside kept saying “ni hao” to us (we are all Asian) and thought it was funny. When my friend yelled back at them they just started laughing. Find better bouncers that aren’t racist please 😊

I really enjoyed it here.$40 to see 3 bands is excellent value. Really friendly staff as well.my only criticism is why have four fans in the venue and not turn them on on a warm night? Do they do that so people will drink more? I don't know. But I will go back there for sure.

In an excellent location, this bar has charm on every surface. From the led mop heads to the orange plastic water fountain, there's so much to look at. And then there are the drinks! The owner and bartender that served me were super friendly and helpful. I tried out the cocktail wheel and had the pleasure of trying a garage slapper made with honey from hives kept on the top of the building, it was delicious. There's a classic bar area, a little hideaway room (that could be a former dungeon or recording studio) and a dancefloor. Highly recommend this place as a local haunt, tourist must see and perfect private venue. Thanks again for an incredible night 🥰
We came to see Jacqui Lumsden and I have to say this is the coolest small-mid venue I've ever seen live music at!!! The whole ceiling opens up so you are standing there watching great musicians under the stars!!

The bartenders are on fire. So fast, super attentive, great recommendations. We didn't eat food, but the drinks were solid. Looks like they have great bands coming through pretty often and it would be worth it even if you didn't know the band was going to be good like we did!!

We recently hired the garden marquee for our daughters 2nd birthday. The kids had a fantastic time - the marquee offered shade, the area was fenced off with space for the kids to run around on the grass, and the jumping castle was a huge hit! The functions team were available to answer all of our questions and provide updates. On the day, the team (esp. Karen) was exceptional - they helped with set up, walked around offering our guests food and checked in on our experience. I would highly recommend Bulimba Golf Club marquee for any functions, particularly a kids party.

Came across this place by accident and saw some local bands playing. Rad venue, excellent staff, friendly vibes. Fun all round. Playing punk & alternative vibes downstairs with a DJ.
Had an absolute blast at the Van Show this evening!!! An awesome space... looking forward to many more gigs!

We went there to witness an amazing live singing performance. The staff is wonderful what they do, they are friendly, hard working, and very accomodating. The place has great room for performances with colourful lights. It has a bar outside the room and inside, too!
Had crumbed zucchini with almond and pomegranate pilaf for dinner and simply loved it. The flavours and aroma were great! It came with a serve of Greek yogurt and tasted awesome!
This place is super busy and lively. The club has accessible entry as well. The location is right at the corner of the street, but it is extremely tough to find a parking spot on the weekends! However, the tram stop is just right as you exit the club, so for public transport users, that wouldn't be an issue!
Yes, bad decisions.
The place you end up at when you should have gone home prior to bad decisions.

Bad Decisions.

Staff were good, we grabbed the little nook up front & played some pack man. We t for a wonder upstairs, the had a band on. Roo. Was packed and no beer on tap up the top.

We back down and made a good decisions to order an Uber home.
Great conference centre!
I attended the Love Israel conference there. The teaching and worship was so Holy Spirit anointed. I was blessed.

Hands down, by far one of Sydney's hidden and quirkiest bars not far from Central & Redfern! Bjorn and the crew were very gracious in hosting our collab DJ & Drinks social group on relatively short notice with very easy equipment setup while booking the entire venue. A must-visit to check out how one converted his garage into a public establishment.

Fabulous ambience. We stopped by for a coffee and snack, but an evening of music at The Jade must be wonderful. Definitely going to try it soon
A mix of bar specials, standards and other drinks... even 0% alcohol, in an eclectic subterranean environment that is a bar. Cool!

I had a Golden Boy, three rum mix with ginger, cinnamon sugar flamed and other components. Very tasty!
This little par 3 course is great for those looking to start their golf journey. I took a Canadian freind down for a round and he loved it. The price of playing after 2pm was cheap and the club hire is also cheap. Overall a really good time!
This is a beautiful auditorium with the best lighting & sound equipment operated by true professionals. It's a pleasure working with them when I video record a conference here.

$18 for cocktail and poor taste what you get for?,I not going to order a cocktail here again 😔😔😔

It doesn't taste alcohol and cocktail, but it's like drink only juice.

1Very very very.......sweet
1 very very very....... sour
1ok not to bad

We can't drink it, when I bring back at the counter let's them know very sour they just put a lot of sugar and lemonade in my drink No No professional at all no enjoy. 😔😔😔
You couldn't pick a better place to have a big conference or a small meeting and everything in between!!
It has more than adequate facilities the seating is comfortable the sound system is perfect the staff are friendly there's plenty of room for advertisers to put up a little stand, the toilet facilities are clean and plentiful, there is wheelchair access and disabled access.
A cafe is brilliant, serving teas and coffees and the usual range of cakes and yummy snacks!!
I couldn't recommend the venue more highly!!!
Its not only great for a confrence, but also in a concert !... I attend an convert in last friday. Ot has a good lighting, sound system, and comfortable chair.

Work sent us here for an afternoon session to learn about homelessness and how common it is in today's society. We were shown people's struggles and how people can easily become homeless. We did a supermarket challenge in purchasing things on a budget for each case study. I found the experience rewarding. The conference centre was a tad bit hot if you're in there all day, they probably need to up the air-conditioner but other than that, the place is clean and comfortable.

Great small bar with lots of character, a lot of effort has gone in the decorations. Has a large on tap beer selection and plenty of cocktail variations to try. I would definitely come back.
One of the few remaining old school pubs with a band room. Great bar snacks, recommend the buffalo wings - fantastic. Friendly service, great beer selection and the surprise is the cocktail list with the old fav Espresso Martini. Good mix of locals and band followers (groupies).
Very nice Church Theatre, please come for Sunday Service at 1 pm or 6 pm. Agape Indonesian Church.
