Absolutely no shade in the sunshine state... not even for sitting down nearby to cool off. Needs a water bubbler. Shows a lack of foresight in designing parks for kids.
Great court with nice people
Nice space to practice with 2 courts

Really great family friendly courts.
Nice place, central location, hard to park during games at the nearby fields. Close to the main road so you have to be careful when you miss the shoot to not end up with the ball on the main road.
Really friendly and helpful staff and great facilities 😊 they have personal training plans to get beginners started!

P.s their saunas are amazing!
Umpires are really inconsistent and let bad behaviour slide time and time again, which encourages bad game atmosphere. Most of the year, courts are so hot it's hard to play.
Canteen is hopeless.
Manned by incompetent people
Very slow.
Won't buy anything again.
Refs are rigged !! If your team is loosing, good luck getting a fair go
Great facilities for junior basketball 🏀
Superb gym with awesome equipment and group fitness available as well as a pool! The group classes get a bit too sweaty on hot days but it adds to the burn (no but pls put some more fans in). Staff all super lovely, great price for membership too and lots of options available for flexibility!
Went there to watch Sat pm basketball games.
Cafe was shut, but front desk served us drinks and icy poles. Needed as was incredibly hot on the courts!!
This place lost my form to book a birthday party for my daughter. I booked so in advance to ensure a spot is available and called to follow up. I was promised over the phone someone will contact me but NO ONE DID. This place is a joke. Worst worst ever
Too small, no net.
Full sized court with 3 point lines! The Rims are solid with decent nets. Played some local peeps super nice and welcoming. Just wish there was barrier to prevent the ball from bouncing off the court.
Great facilities and kids enjoy playing in their basketball competition. However there is no refund for bye and there are a lot of byes as each division is intentionally set up with only a few teams and odd number of teams.
Relatively clean recreation centre - good for a game or two of volleyball or your favourite sports with a group of mates⚽️🏀🏐🏸
Staff here are very kind and nice.
A lot of parking space are available right in front of the centre. A couple of change rooms and toilet are also available😃
Needs lighting, we've been using it for cardio practice and not basket ball, measurements being drawn down would be cool too!👍
Good place to play very open and relaxing area but can be very windy also not a very popular place

Great courts, good referees, could use one more drinking fountain, 4 stars cause we have paid full fees yet don't get full minutes. They start the clock at 19 minutes a half instead of 20 minutes to play basketball, despite there not being any covid cases here in Perth.
It's ok. Backboard is very small and it makes it hard to play as the ball goes flying everywhere. Could use a nice makeover for sure

Besides the roof sometimes leaking water in the raining days, otherwise all good. Location is convenient and staff are very friendly and caring.

Don't come round here if you see me there, you dont want no ankle problems just sayin'
Free playground on open air close to a lake, what you want more?!
Great place for all ages; dancing class, tennis coaching, basketball courts, squash courts. Got programme for little one, cafe and of course free Wifi.
While not the most modern of all of Perth's sport facilities, Lakeside is still an amazing location. Versatile for a variety of events, it's close to the freeway and has ample parking.

The best quality of Lakeside which sets it apart from many other facilities are it's amazing staff and game officials. Friendly, professional they go above and beyond and are some of the most amazing hosts.

I highly recommend Lakeside as a brilliant and on of Perth's best locations/facilities for your next sporting event.
Fantastic location, a wide range of equipment and services, friendly and professional staff. A world class facility.
Some of the activities to do here are:
Basketball, tennis, futsal, netball, voleyball, and a bit more.
There is also a gym, fitness classes, spinning room, pool and sauna (not 24/7 though but is open 7 days a week).
There is also a Cafe and crèche, so good to meet up there with friends.
