Fully equipped gym with great music (not loud!!)
Great community vibe & always plenty of room to move
Big plus is NOT having to wait for equipment
WONDERFUL staff - genuinely care about clients and clearly love their job🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lakeside Aussie hoops program is pathetic. They use small kids to coach. They don’t even understand the basics of basketball. The drills are useless, might as well go to a dancing class, watching them is like torture.A complete waste to money.
i got scammed at the cafeteria, paid for 2 chips and kept us waiting for 10 minutes, just for some girls in a Hornets jersey to tell us that we didnt pay for it even though we did? Kept on denying it just to scam us, they shouldnt be working there.
All time great place for sports and worship.
great effort in promoting sports , friendship, community mix, and kids discipline thru sports (Basketball).
keep it up
Courts and basketball are really good, played there a couple times and was really good. I want to go there again
Great place to practise basketball
Works well :/
Place is very convenient for us to have and play every time.
Good layout for 4 courts. Spectators space is good and a great viewing deck up high.
Nice score controls and benches.
Works well.
Good court. Has a drink fountain
Good implementation of Covid safe protocols for basketball. But then again game fees vs another organisation on the Northside same fees but fully Aircon.
Great place for a casual shoot around, courts are kept clean and free from dust mostly.
Typical outdoor basketball & netball courts. Two full courts in total (4 hoops in total) which are currently functional. The hoops can be turned around to change from a basketball hoop to a netball hoop or vice versa. One suggestion would be to ensure that all the hoops have (chain) nets - at present only two hoops on one court have synthetic nets. Also, the blacktop surface of the courts is starting to crack in several places which will need to be repaired at some stage soon to avoid the problem getting any worse & someone possibly ending up getting injured as a result. The courts are immediately adjacent to large open fields which is handy for sports such as soccer & any other activity suitable for outdoor fields. Great place to bring your kids & /or walk the dog. Despite the two minor issues above, I highly recommend this park to anyone keen on some outdoor activities & /or enjoying the amazing Gold Coast sunshine....
Services are great and plenty of parking. Staff are gruff but business like. Could use more days open for public use.
Great court, secluded location never anyone there. Nets a bit ripped though.
Loved this court. 4.5 star
Pros:
lines on court
decent court surface
appears to be proper ring height
shade over court from nature
sit down rest area and water tap
plenty of space

cons:
no net
have to cross swampy grass (so dont wear good shoes)
not much parking
Went down on a Sunday morning for a casual entry to play basketball . Checked online for availability and also upon arrival we even double checked with the staff that the courts were available for casual entry.

At least 16 other people all got told in about 15 minutes that the courts were booked last minute and we couldn't continue.

Asked for refund but we were denied. Thought this would be reasonable considering we didn't really get to use the facility for long.

Pretty shady way of doing business.
