We love this library! It’s a great place to work, read or bring your little ones! Sorry to those who are complaining about the noise but you can’t expect children to be silent?! 🤷🏼‍♀️😅 maybe bring some headphones or go to the cafe next door if you want it to be quiet. 😊
Children will always come and be here as the kids corner is just absolutely beautiful, engaging and welcoming!

Baby rhyme time is done so well here and has been such a great resource for my daughter. They have a great range of books for toddlers too and the librarians are lovely
Fabulous helpful staff. Great range of books. Staff helped me with downloading the Borrowbox app onto my phone, so I have free ebooks and audiobooks. They are a real community asset uth the services they provide.
Well stocked with a variety of genres, titles and authors. Lots of different media and affiliates with other libraries. A user friendly search system, so no Dewey decimal treasure hunting anymore. Great staff too.
My first time here and i can say that the staff are very lovely and helpful. They issued me a library card and also showed me how to use the printer and thoroughly communicated instructions. Lots of computers and books and a very peaceful place to relax. Made me feel so welcomed and attended my needs right away. Definitely coming back again!! :)
Great and very friendly staff!
Excellent collection and facilities. Great for kids too. Very friendly staff.
Especially those librarians are so kind and helpful. They are ready to help anyone and patient about people's asking.
Thank you for helping me with that so much printing jobs. I appreciate it.
My safe place! Great library with a river view, a great and updated selection of books. The staff members are all so welcoming. My favorite spots have to be the area with the bean bag chairs (non-fiction isle I think) on level 1, the corner desk on the ground floor where I could just sit, do my work while enjoying the view and the tables right next to the window on level 2 since I can enjoy being alone there. Overall just the best place to be when the noise of the CBD gets too overwhelming.
Love the 858 CoLab. A good place to work on my laptop
Brisbane Square is probably my favourite public library in all of Queensland. It has 4 floors and lots of seating for both people working and people reading. I love watching the buses cross the Victoria Bridge as I work on my computer for school. The aircon is also really powerful and was great after walking under the Riverside Expressway for half an hour.
Great place to relax, study, play with your video games, having research and to learn. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Pippa is my favourite “lovely lady of business hours only”… so far 🏳️‍🌈

I might be able to help with the IT systems, but by Bunjil, the weather is always too hot here.

Glad they have AC inside, and security where all the truly weird stuff happens: inside and outside of the building.

Stay safe in their lovely humans.

I’ll donate a book soon 🏳️‍🌈😘

Great library very helpful staff. Just wish they had more books!
A long time away and things have changed. Staff helpful once I realized that they were staff. As expected, everything was organized and well laid out. It isn't the biggest library but it's one of eight so between them, most things are covered.

1.There’s a childrens playground 30 metres from the library, who on earth thought it a good idea to have play area inside a library? Kids screaming because they don’t want to leave, I can’t concentrate…drunk person sleeping in the library, toilets are the only public toilets in town they stink and always occupied
Can’t pay 30 cents for a photocopy using my phone because contactless payment is not accepted

The council have done such a fantastic job in creating a space that is warm and playful, whilst still having the bones of a library to welcome children into the world of books.

Great free holiday programs for kids at the library
Good as most of the libraries but limited to many things like if you want to practice language tests like PTE you will only find Vocabulary books that also only 2 apart from that nothing. For IELTS you do have some options but as compared to Garden City Library only 45%. Place is quite than garden city but you can't stay longer as no Power points to be use only Power points to use is on the table of 10 chairs which is hard to get hold on. Good place to kids to play computer games as the area is specifically good.

it's a nice library but it's always too hot in there, they need some fans going or something
My Son and I have been attending Bookbubs this year and it has been amazing! Such a great program and Emma and Renee are absolutely wonderful with the kids! Wollondilly Library is a great place and they are constantly getting new and varied items/books in. Lots of great programs to be a part of and a really nice environment to study or read. The library bus service is also excellent and a really great asset in such a spread out council area. All the staff are really helpful and friendly and nothing is ever a problem.

We love Francine, she is the bedrock of rhyme time at Maylands. The library is beautiful, clean, well resourced and great for kids.
The library services are good, especially if you don't have a computer & printer/scanner for that matter. Ladies in there are extremely helpful I've found. Today there were many mothers wheeling & walking with their young ones into the library. There must have been some school holiday activities being held in the library today. Good community centre to have as a worthwhile addition too the suburb. The lawn area & Rose Gardens out front of the library give it a nice look to it's entrance too
The toilet here is pretty clean and there is a water fountain outside the toilets. The water fountains are very low pressure.

There are also books inside the library as well as print / copy service.
As far as amenities go for a common library the Brisbane Square Library is one that's hard to beat, mostly due to the architectural design and the availability of windows for the study area. The entire library has a bright open plan feel without too many shelves cluttering the space. Die-hards may disagree and say there'snot enough books for such a large library but Ithink it evokes a very welcoming ambience. Wisely, the study chairs located on the second floor hug the perimeter of the floor space. The windows are artfully arranged in angular geometric patterns which afford every third seat a view of the Brisbane River. Not everyone gets a window seat however that is not always a requirement. Obviously some students don't want the added distraction of the sunny outdoors when they have serious study to attend to. For my tastes and purposes this is a building that I feel most comfortable in, which is more than I can say about 99% of the constrictions in the rest of the city.

We love visiting this library with its multi-level, city views and spacious design. There are pop up exhibitions, writer’s readings, book launches, STEM activities, workshops and so much more on offer. The children’s section is so inviting and there are games on offer for the children. The staff are so helpful and approachable. Borrowing and returns are also fully automated now so you can self-serve through the process. If you haven’t downloaded the Library app, I highly recommend it as you can place books on hold as well renew them through the app. It makes the entire process so convenient.
1st Saturday live music, Eric Dunan with 2 students, Zoe on piano and Zac on bass. Excellent!
Very friendly staff.

Cool little library. Awesome staff. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We took the kids for a visit today, as an adventure. We took the elevator up to the level where the kids area was, a little more signage after exiting the lift to direct would be awesome! The kids area itself is a decent size but mainly aimed at older children. The projector for the floor wasn’t working and neither was one of the computers.
Lots of books to choose from but it seemed most of the English board books were mixed with the international ones so it made it a little tricky for my kiddos.
Huge variety of books and places to sit and read. But maybe some more things for the younger kids are needed :)

AWESOME library !
Even "travelers" can make a library card to borrow some books ♡
There are various comic books.
Lots of magazines and children's books.
Clean tap water.
Cozy sofa ♡
Visitors who don't have a library card can use study room. (But, in advance, you need to write your name on the time table set in front of study rooms.)
There are free English conversation events twice a week.

Nice environment in the library. Located in busy part of Caringbah, roads & parking can be hectic.
Library. Books. You know the drill.
Many books and activities. They have section for great books to be borrowed for 7 days only. Not recommend to travel to here by car as you will not have public parking. I parked in casino nearby which costed $50 for 40 minutes.
Wonderful place. The staff are lovely and my kids love the activities provided also.
Very nice and clean little library, friendly librarians, we’ll visit regularly.
Thank you Logan Central Library! It was our first time here and it just so happened to be right before story time with Tu'ii.. My kids and I love to read so we bounce around to alot of different library's. First time at this one and my kids loved it! Plenty of computers front and centre and some lovely staff.. Thanks Logan Central we will be back🥰

My baby and I went to rhyme time on Monday just gone (25/7/22) for the 9:45 session. It was fantastic. The lady running it was wonderful and so engaging with the kids. You seriously couldn't have a better person running it. We will definitely be back
I take my 2 year old grandson there just about every week. The librarians treat him with such kindness and know his interests and often have one or two books there for him to look at. He loves going there and is developing a love of books. A real treasure for the community - building, location and especially the staff.

The new and updated library is such a pleasure to be in.

There is so much space to go and chill and read and you deserve facilities the Internet is pretty reasonable as well.

Definitely worth checking it out
Very helpful with printing from my phone.
Our printer is broken so we went to print a document needed for insurance. We have no trouble with the internet but we had trouble with the printer. The young lady on duty was very helpful.
Great facilities, clean, tidy and very welcoming. Hire of the rooms are very well priced and access to an outside, undercover and gated playground is great for the kids. 10/10

First timer today and I really really like it! Comparing to busy Garden city library or Sunnybank hills library, this place is quiet, peaceful, spacious, and has lot of computers for internet surfing. Many desks and quiet rooms for study and wall sockets for charging. Really recommend people who enjoys a peaceful place to study or reading.

Enjoy modern jazz and even funky jazz, horn, bass and keyboard, at this community library. Sit, read, listen. The library is a fertile room for study, deep reading and just sheer enjoyment. Ask the children who giggle and swoop. The jazz is on the first Saturday of the month. From my last visit: This little oasis, a fun library with knowledgeable staff, is a gem under the big fig tree. Children's books, puzzles, colouring pencils and crayons abound in a quiet corner. Great stuff.

Great selection of books and friendly service
I asked for mangas and they said they got mangos.
Nice small to medium library. I have never seen so many movie DVDs in a library before so movies must be a big thing around here.
Good place to get the required books. Calm place to work.

Fremantle Library was next to the Fremantle football oval. I didn't realise to use this landmark to locate the library. It took me a long time to find the library. On arrival to the library, the Librarian was helpful & friendly, she advised me of online resources & issue me a library card too. I have already registered online, quick & an easy process. I would recommend new members to use the online facilities. They are excellent services.
I've only just arrived in the area, it's good to have a different selection of books. Seed borrowing looks interesting, will probably get into that later.
Good local library free wifi a lot of online resources
Tonight's visit to the library was wonderful. Very involved and full of community spirit with lovely people supporting the town and people within'. :)
Fantastic!
Modern, functional, accessible, well located!
A inspiring place to concentrate on what you need to do.

Besides individual tables, you can book rooms for a group work, or a phone call for example.

You Will have a confortable nice view of the Brisbane River and the Cassino.

The team is super friendly and always ready to help.

I love to go work from there!
Always good service - well laid out and plenty of community info and also the seed library. A great community resource
Always 5 star service from the lovely ladies at this library.
Nice big modern library. Absolutely packed full of books! The only down side was it was a bit quite.
The librarians are always very helpful I can mostly get the books I want but if not they seem to be able to get them from another library.
Dear Library,
Any chance we can get a library that opens, at the very least till 8pm during the week and at least till 4 pm on the weekends?

Yours sincerely,
Uni student
quaint, neat little library - perhaps the only one in all of the serpentine jarrahdale shire - tucked away in the recesses of this rapidly expanding council. the staffer i met was excellent and very friendly. shire administration need to build more libraries in places like byford to meet the growing needs of a burgeoning population
Love the new renovations. Always a great assortment of books for any reading appetite. If they don't have it they will get it in. Super friendly and helpful staff especially Lee and Bronwyn.

Friendly cosy little library, if you're after the old school library experience this is the place to visit in the Southern Highlands!
A great little library. The staff are always helpful. In addition to books they have magazine, newspapers, audio books, music CDs, Video CDs the Internet etc. A valuable resource if you live in the Shire. Your screens are controlling you! Read a book!
